Looking at the dates of the friendlies and the Confeds cup, I wonder what the implications will be for Lewis and Dyer who feature in Hudson's plans, as the under 20 World Cup is 20 May onwards and it would appear to have overlaps in timings and they would be playing that too?

I'd imagine they'd play U20s and link up as soon as finished, which could be as soon as Northern Ireland if they are out Round of 16 or earlier.

Anyone know if NZ Football will be getting a ticket allocation to All Whites vs Northern Ireland in Belfast?

I say tackle him in the face.

AS PNG (Papua New Guinea) are a up and coming team with lot's of players peforming well, alot have gone overseas and have been able to find games agasint oppoition outside of OFC combined with with good results.

Would it be worth for NZ to have a couple freindly with them? Obviously there may not be a chance this year due to a tight schedule but possible in the future.

We will probably end up playing them in September in the Oceania playoff.

Well they are my pick to go through anyway.

This is probably not the right thread, so mods you can move to a more appropriate place

Great for fiji, great to see them getting more game time and against other non Island teams.

Decent in getting Estonia.   Some of the island teams have played better nations then we've managed this year (PNG vs Iran etc).

Supporter world's best and worst football teams: Waikato/WaiBop, Kingz, Knights, Phoenix, The Argyle, The Whites & the All Whites
