All Whites Ticketing Angst

I got tickets earlier in rows DD and N, Aisle 21-22, seat numbers 70-90 range.

The most I could get together was 3 seats, and mostly in groups of 2.

Otherwise got moved around to Aisle 20-21.

So definitely a lot of seats sold in the usual YF area.Ard Righ2010-08-25 18:17:53

does that mean that one will seat in section 22 and the other one will be seated in section 21, with the aisle in between them? sorry for the stupid question, haven't been to the cake tin for quite a long time. i think my last was an NPC match..   this is our first time watching the All Whites. can anyone clarify how the ticketing is done. ticketek keeps on giving me Section: AISLE23-24C with 3 seats.

It hust means that the Yellow Fever/White Noise zone is the block in between aisles 21 and 22, so it is easiest to get to by going down aisle 21 and turning right or down aisle 22 and turning left.

got my 3 tickets in the post yesterday, didn't check PAX # but will do this tonight.

Queenslander 3x a year.

what was the pax?

I hope both games get good crowds, but I'm not so sure. Auckland should get more than Wellington being on a Saturday. If the weather is nice a big walk up crowd is not impossible.

Mine today for Auckland 2374.

Did people's tickets for the two matches arrive seperately? My Auckland ones arrived today, but the Welly ones didn't. Presume they will turn up in the next couple of days.

They're some good Paxi, considering it's just presales.

I tried buying my tickets yesterday, I wanted to coose my seats so went to ticketet with my season passses and they said I couldn't buy them. How are we meant to choose which seats we want and get pre sales. Why do ticketet assume that just because we're buying early it means we don't care where we sit.

Aaaarrggghhhh

(sorry neded to get it off my chest )

I think if you ring them or go into Ticketek you can be more specific about your choice of seat

Not until they are on general sale, and you can't buy them over the phone either. Maybe I just got unhelpful people. I've only got a day to wait till general sale, so I'll get them then.

The general sale started today. I bought mine over the counter at Ticketek at lunchtime and chose the seats I wanted.

get a seat next to White Zone Doloras.
Noticed ticketek are also saying the Away Supporter Zone allocation is exhausted.

The closest Ticketek will let me sit is Bloc 1. Might as well stay home.

detoxin is right, you should be happy to see the All Whites live sitting wherever. I'd much rather be in Bloc 1 than on my couch ruing a very expensive car bill/earthquake which stopped me from going to either match.

Just get a seat in the next bay and help expand the zone!

that is a poor attitude, just because a zone is sold out doesn't mean the other seats are crap. all football lovers in auckland should go. otherwise you have no case if games get shifted elsewhere in the future.

Bloody hell, Sometimes I am ashamed to be an Aucklander. How many All White games are we going to have a year. You need to get out to them all.

Yeah, but when I do live football I do it for the atmosphere and the active participation. If I'm going to be sitting surrounded by people telling me to sit down and shut up, then it is really no fun.

... *sigh* Never mind. You guys shamed me into it. I'll be over in Bloc 1.Doloras2010-09-13 09:40:28

Forgive me if I sound whiny. I would have bought tix on day 1 for the Zone, except that I had business in Wellington that day... and then that business was cancelled and I was disappointed that I'd missed out. But, on the other hand - this clearly shows that tix are selling great guns and we'll probably have a sellout!
