The agreed pre-match plan was Just at 75 mins and Old and Waine at 85. 

The time is now, can't expect them to work into the game at 5 to go, they'll start playing panicball and nothing will come of it.

McCowatt, Garbett and Bindon all need subbing off.

First time checking this thread and I’m stunned how negative this thread is. Frustration at our lack of goals is warranted but this is by far the most I’ve bought into Bazeley’s idea of “the goals will come”. We’ve played a much better side off the park for the most part

In the first half. Singh and Garbett have been knackered even in the first half. 
Tunisia have made 5 subs and seized control of the game. We’ve only brought on Just. We’ve got fresh legs, but we’re refusing to use them. We haven’t controlled possession in 20 minutes.

Garbett’s coming back from an injury iirc, too.

Tunisia are dreadful. Finished bottom of their Afcon group which featured Namibia. I doubt very much that they are a "much better side".

Straight away Old turns and sets us off on a counter, as he’s been doing all season. He’s got 7 minutes.

And also went to WC22 where they beat France and drew with Denmark.

AFCON is a wild tournament - anyone can beat anyone there. Wouldn't read too much into their underperformance there. 

They're the sixth best ranked team in Africa and you've gotta think that's for a reason.

All that said it doesn't seem like they're full strength today or this tournament

Doesn't really help that every national coach we've have is an ex centre back going back to '05 (unsure what Hudson was).

PLEASE make a tactical 91 minute sub, Alex Paulsen for Crocombe.

Fark me… lmao what’s the difference if the keeper is told before the game, on his drink bottle, or just before the pen what way he should go?

I heard the commentator say the substitute goalkeeper was gonna come on for the shootout... almost got excited before realising it was Tunisia lol.

Tbf both Crocombe and Paulsen are good penalty keepers

if I was Tunisia i wouldnt be worried about NZ's pens, their assistant seems to have full knowledge pf where we shoot.

If this game (and the entire Series) showed us anything, it was that 
A) we can hold our own against anyone. We just need more of those games but we have the quality at the back and in the middle to compete
B) We are way too long reliant on Wood. Without him we're just aimless up there. Some good runs from Kosta but then we're basically trying to pass the ball into the goal.

Hopefully Waine continues to progress and becomes the new Wood...otherwise I don't really know how we will ever score goals.

I mean it seemed like a bizarre piece of reffing. The guy comes over and has a go at him and he gets sent. 

Carcace clearly saying something back - so fair call on the yellow - but a second yellow 20 seconds later for standing still as the guy decides to give him a chest bump is odd.

Never a second yellow/red in that.

Good penalty practice for the All Whites but I am not phased either way it goes. Really wanted a goal or two in game time this tournament.

I can see Tunisia being more technical than us and winning on penalties but they've been quite annoying so I do hope the sky a couple of their penalties and we win this

Exactly with you on this. Won't really celebrate or cry depending on the pen shootout. We played well and it's great to see, but have a sour taste in my mouth as we deserved to score and win

Earlier in the commentarty it said this tournament will be held every 2 years. Hopefully we get invited back again.

Would be cool if every country got a chance to host as well - but wont happen.
