The sun sets at 6:14 pm apparently... and it's currently 6:02 pm. No idea what they're gonna do this second half.

Bloody shambles...Noumea have one or two good stadiums so why play in the back blocks of nowhere...makes them look silly as well

I'd imagine they put it in a fairly remote place to give them some competitive advantage, it's also nice for a small community to get an international game, that's pretty cool.

its good to be back..as far as I can tell.

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

Could be but there team has to travel the same distance. Playing it in Noumea in front of 16,000 seems like it would be more intimidating.

Surely its the same as the Nix/AWs/ABs playing in PN, NP or HB.  I've seen the lights go out and power failures at Mt Smart, NH and Waikato stadiums.

Probably local politics. The mayor of this town will be mates with the head of the FA or something

People like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis. You can't trust people.

we're not very good really are we

we have several players with no technique whatsoever

we struggle to link - passing is non-existent

tuiloma on and we have a back 5

Why are we reverting to a back 5? This makes no sense. We need to get some attacking players on, not ensure we get a 0-0 draw.

barbarouses has this annoying habit of waiting until a defender catches up to him before crossing or shooting

it undermines his pace and skill

A draw here means a win and a draw against Fiji will be enough. In reality, a draw is not a bad result in terms of advancing but we should be aiming for more.

We shouldn't be entertaining any result outside of a win.  No matter how rubbish the performance.  If the players there are garbage, that's the managers fault.  There are better choices in NZ and Europe available.

Funny how people are critical of Brocks lack of goals for the AWs but Kosta is no better.

I was thinking Shane Smeltz should be there

Kosta is less of a striker than Brockie and I would imagine he has got a few more assists than Brockie too. The point is still a fair one, however.

Yup. They would have wanted an unstructured dog fight and they have got it.
