Is it just me or do GGW and Fred sound very very similar?

Can someone explain why we are playing  for a draw? No urgency to get forward

Okay so I was lenient on Dyer as he is: 1) Young 2) I played with him in high school. But honestly, he isn't cut for the all whites. Terrible game he has had

Might just be me, but Boxall was poor. Caught out on several occasions. Dyer also dire.

Has Dyer ever had a good game for the All Whites? He's clearly too young to be playing as of yet.

pretty bloody awful conditions. Did you see how hard it is pelting down? Quite a leveler. The said we lacked urgency or threat at the front end.

Funny how people are critical of Brocks lack of goals for the AWs but Kosta is no better.

Kosta - 1 goal every 11 international games.

Brockie - 1 goal every 49 international games.

Yes it is

who'd ya think it was vader?

Who ever it was that he kept calling Brett. That would suggest to me it was not GGW. That or I am so old my ears really need a clean

If I was a dictatorial admin on Yellow Fever I'd immediately ban anyone who praises Brockie or says he deserves a call up. Kosta has been disappointing for the All Whites but Brockie has been disgustingly, outrageously bad.

I thought GGW said Brett, but realised he was saying Fred.

so 0-0 and best chance fell to NC.

Poor. Poor. Poor.  No excuses.

A draw here means a win and a draw against Fiji will be enough. In reality, a draw is not a bad result in terms of advancing but we should be aiming for more.

If Fiji gets two draws against us, and beats NC, then they go through?

Remembering they will have Roy up front too.

Maybe worth putting cash on fiji to qualify from Oceania?

Doesnt matter too much, this AW team isnt beating Chile or anyone like that.

How many proffesional players does NC have?

If they beat NC twice, yeah. As it is everything is still in our own hands (which wouldn't be the case had we lost).

I don't understand scapegoating him like this.

He linked up well many times and had a few opportunities - as opposed to rojas who looked invisible.

i think we've been really poor in these 2 games

we were nothing like the team that looked so good in the US

obviously reid and mcglinchey, who were both awesome in the states, were missed

but the tea didn't really function at all

Hard to believe this is the same team that ran Mexico and the USA so closely .

rojas was invisible because our use of the ball was so poor and part of this was dyer.  every time rojas touched it he was class

i agre that some of the vitriol towards dyer is pretty mean. but he's not up to it. and this is the world cup

What team was it a leveler for?

We were playing lots of long balls today. That sort of stuff is never going to suit Marco.
