Reid is 100% in the top three players, if it wasn't for Farfan's return to form Reid would be the best on the park on paper. He's also playing for the biggest club out of anyone in either team.

Its hard to know how good Peru will be against non Conmebol opposition. Under the current coach they have mostly only played South American teams (30 out of 36 games).

Only B787s coming into Wellington that I'm aware of are the two extra Air NZ flights. Are they coming on one of those?

MTOW is rearly reached. Fully full tank of fuel, carrying cargo as heavier then pax with luggage, so no issues in or out of welli
For argument's sake - what would happen if Peru were unable to travel to the game on Saturday? Would we be awarded a 3-0 win heading into the return leg?
I know it's not going to happen, but given the fact that high winds and storms are lashing the country, who's to say they won't at least get delayed until Saturday? I'd still take that as it would hinder their final preparations. Unsportsmanlike much?

Not at all, preparations should be perfect. If they fly in to late and they are surprised how cold and windy it is, they did not do their homework. I'll take a 3:0.

Jet lag for both will be more flying against the clock than air time as such. I would not be keen on taking off from Welly in partially laden 787 with runaway lenght
seems all of Peru's players have now arrived. For whatever reason they are only training once a day, from 4.15pm onwards. I have no idea what they are doing for the rest of the day.
