Tuiloma and Mcg together are more hindrance than help defensively.  Bring Wood and Rojas on.  Brockie later if it's desperate.

Id keep kosta on for another burst but with wood

Yep.  Wood for Tuiloma.  Run Kosta and then Rojas.

Fark...backs to wall as expected

But if we score soon we freak them out.

hmmmm..not sure from where unless its one hell of  a through ball or long ball.

If that's the case then Peru might think they're at the last WC Finals they were in, and playing England (or the All Whites).

Spain '82 is where it all really began for me. There were a few moments before, plenty of moments after, but that World Cup was the zeitgeist.

If Boxall carries on like that he'll get carded.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I see no problem with Hudson's plan, but the pressure from Peru made all the difference so far.

And probably they know they could not show themselves on the streets of Lima if they lost to NZ.

Don't forget we can give them another goal as long as we get one ourselves.

The problem is when you are set up the way we were, even if you get it clear there is no one to collect, so you just end up under the pump all over again.  A lot of the reason Peru were able to pile on the pressure to the degree they were was our line up (and a lot that they are a much better team - but that part is out of our control).

Away goals are not double.  The tie break if aggregate goals are even is the team that has scored the most away goals.

I don't like all this 'what could've been' vibe from us. That's no good when you're on the plane home.

What a difference. Almost full strength now, and we're making some actual plays here. 30 minutes to do this, c'mon!!

We're gonna get fudgeing hammered 3-0, fudgeing deal with it.  I know.  I've accepted it.  fudge.

I recon you're spot on.  2-0 now.  We really needed that goal in Wellington. Game, set and match Peru.
