Hey, he's an MLS starter now thank you very much. And if there's one thing that guarantees you All Whites selection its being a starter in the MLS! Oh wait...

Must be a chance of playing too now, given no Tuiloma in squad. Musa has been playing far more of late as a DM rather than CB.

Good on him. Plugging away in unfashionable USL, obviously been playing well enough to get noticed, and now rewarded on 2 fronts.

Hope he plays DM... he's 25 so has plenty of years in him and I would love some greater depth in this position.

Benji T was getting locked up by Hamilton Wanderers last weekend. Think Winston will be fine.

Benji Totori played in Nelson, but for Richmond. Henry Fa'arodo played for FC Nelson as well. Big representation for the region in the Solomon's squad.

Wow. Wood has already played 50 times for the country. He'll crack the tonne before he's done. Unless. He turns into Reid now that he's in the EPL. I'd say Reid is another no show. Sad.

Reid is injured that I suspect is a real injury, And if Wood does take a knock will we see Brockie? again.

I doubt Reid is faking an injury - West Ham are not going to ask one of their better players to feign injury especially when 3 points are up for grabs.

Guess we are looking at a Dura, Themi and Boxall back three now.

Not the best of luck this again with injuries eh.

Sure as hell hope some of those players wrap themselves up in cotton wool come November (if we make it)!

If Reid wasn't actually injured West Ham wouldn't have him missing games with the state they're in. Not too upset by this.

When does anyone ever miss a game with a fake injury anywhere at any time? What could irk here is that he'll be fit come Sep 9, but isn't being allowed or made to come and potentially be fit for Sep 5. Personally, I'm whatever about it,

I'm upset by this because our chances of capitulation dramatically increase without Reid there.

There's no conspiracy though, if he wasn't injured, he wouldn't have been stretchered off the field before that West Ham match!

Stephen Old or Nikko Boxall to be called up in his place.

Both playing professionally, Old got a start in League One the other day, so it playing at the highest level compared to alternatives and Boxall is doing well in Europe, albeit at a lower standard comp.

This is what I like to hear. Old back in the fold #RHYMES and N.Boxall being looked at.

Can't see a new call up at this stage in these circumstances, and if it will be, I think Francis de Vries gets it. Brotherton or Adams.

Given the timing of this and the way Adams played at the OFC I'd be happy for him to play in a back 3.

Durante shouldn't be in he squad given I don't think he's played a pre season game for the Nix yet??

How can he be fit yet Lewis and Tui not.

Anyway, Adams did well and should slot in for Reid. Brotherton just doesn't fill me with confidence. In his prior AW games he's always looked nervous in possession and defaults to a long ball (aka hack). We should be fine with the OFC team at the back.

I hope Musa gets a run. I really think the AWs are missing athleticism. Hudson talked about fitness recently but I actually think it's more than that. You need more than guys who can run all day. We need guys who are athletic, strong and quick especially in the midfield. And both Musa and Tui have those qualities.

The line up suggest we will be parking the bus going for the long-ball countering, the type of game Brockie would do well in.

When will Hudson make a call on a replacement? Reid has been injured since the weekend and today is already Thursday.

I think the longer he takes to make a decision, the more likely he will pick an Oceania-based player, e.g. Adams.
