why?!

a team with Nelsen in it and with the media coverage this week would surpass that figure here

and you'd actually KNOW THAT WE WERE AT THE GROUND SUPPORTING THE ALL WHITES!!

ask the players what crowd they'd perform better in front of Frank

Probably didn't expect him to turn up after his tantrum at the Olympics.

The offifical seating Capacity for NHS in 19,000.  That is around 8000 each side and, 3000 upstairs.

Anyone think that bottom tier looks remotely like it's almost full, seeing as the far side is closed ?

Bugger me, plodder scores !

I am an ex Aucklander, I would say the asian playoffs will get better support in Wellington. Aucklanders have had their chances over the years

If we build it, they will come...

There is good crowd noise there, I just spoke to Liz and she couldn't hear a thing as the lads were rattling through Sloop John B.

I want it in Wellington... just feel perhaps the whole thing is being set up to be played in Auckland

Personally, I would love it to be in Palmy, Arena Manuwatu anyone? I'll travel anywhere though

Anyway, as I was saying, there are 9 (or 10 ?) blocks there, call them 900 seats each.  There are three on the right with no one in them...and the others aren't packed.

we'll if that is the case they must have crowd mikes turned down low, because on the video of our home games we sound a lot louder than that

No doubt the zone is louder...and considerably larger.  Just don't think it's fair to undermine those there making an effort.

I don't think there's any bias with this new regime (Seatter a different story) but AK is the traditional home of football.  The travelling army would be awesome, why don't you guys want to do an away day.  The night on the piss in another city where you have no responsibilities, no wives/gfs/junior news' is fantastic!!

I can tell you that watching the Nix games from Aus, the Yellow Fever sound brilliant. I've been totally gutted being away from Wellington this season!

Smeltz... calm...and class.

Game should be in Hamilton, best football ground in NZ, close to the City.  Full 30k invasion from all over NZ.

Is Smeltz close to overtaking our leading scorer for NZ in internationals?? He must be close!!

plus the gamesmanship aspect of boring the opposition into a coma before the game...

I've a feeling he's really only been scoring in the past five matches, I think he had one or two before then? Covs scored about 35 , so Smeltzy's a way off still, but will no doubt overtake it soon...

that wasn't my intention and yep we can see them singing

I do think though that the AW's would get more of a lift from a crowd at the RoF than an Auckland crowd
