Leo is our standout player on attack. Hope he's half this good against the Jest.

We haven't had a chance since the corner early on. Mexico just need to find their shooting boots. Defence is promising though - better than Bolivia :P

Los Mexicanos seem to be getting behind our defence no problems.

Still yet to conceed though, that's very promising against such a good attacking unit.

Bring on McG in the midfield and try to keep a little more ball. Basing this on comments not watching... god i hate slow work internet speeds!!

full credit so far guys.  Mexico has been very average in front of goal.  I wouldn't be surprised at all to me Carlos Vela start the second half.

Great stuff, all Mexico's shots have been from outside the box.

If the game was based on chances, Mexico are winning 20-2.
But both sides have been reduced to shooting outside the box or corners, and their radar is off.

Who knows what happens next - either they put a few away, or we hold out... don't see us scoring.

I simply cannot put into words how proud I am of the boys right now. Good to see Coombes stepping up, he might not be there yet but he's got a lot of potential if he can work on those crosses. A good result here and it might get Winston Reid to swing our way.

Am trying to watch on a stream at uni  - f**king impossible. Watched about 7 mins total - saw a header that went close from us.

0-0 at half time is a terrific result.

I missed the start, but from what I've seen Lochy hasn't been all that bad. I think he's too much of a scapegoat these days.

I think its going to take more then a draw here to get reid on board.

coombes has had a bit of a mare i think. some great chances to deliver dangerous crosses, and blown all of them. probably bloody nervous though.

Coombes is getting into good positions but seems to be guilty (as many have said) of very amatuer crosses and possibly not taking as much time on the ball as he could. That said though, showing some promise - how old is he?

Tommy Smith is looking good, hard to beleive we have an amatuer centreback but Boyens isn't looking overawed.

Some more concise passing at the right moments would have had goals for both teams.

This is my third favourite half time score in the last year... First 1-0 over Bahrain, second (only because the previous one got us into a world cup) 2-1 over Italy

Plus, Denmark just lost their Wednesday friendly to Austria. (because Reid is basing his decision entirely on the results of March 3 friendlies)

I love the noise the crowd are making when Mossy is taking a goal kick..SUPERB!! dairyflat2010-03-04 18:05:17
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

gotta remember its basically an away game, so gutsy effort so far. love to know the crowd figure. good have been back three, elliott, bertos, killie. ok have been brown, smeltz. not good lochie and coombes. thats my oversimplified analysis
