The All White fans in Denver, Colorado in conjunction with the Colorado Rapids Bulldog Supporters Club are in the initial stages of obtaining an allocation of 100 tickets for an away section for the game on June 1st at Invesco Stadium

http://www.bulldogsupporters.com/events/detail.php?eventID=77

We have made initial inquiries, so any assitance from the yellowfever family would be greatly appreciated.

Plus if anyone is looking to attend the game from Colorado or across the US let me know.

Would be great to be in Denver....where ever that is.....Colorado, me thinks. Apparently its high....not drug induced but altitude....1500 metres. Need ferken oxygen masks for that if you want to run around for 90 mins.

No different to us playing in South Africa.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

We have confirmation that we have been allocated section 231 behind the south end goal. You will be able to purchase tickets for this section after April 28th at www.ticketmaster.com once it is setup on ticketmaster with the promo code that will be required to purchase these tickets.

Will provide more information when once it comes available, including the required promo code.

Spread the word

Geoff

Denver is at 1,609 Meters = 5280 feet, so a mile above sea level

Seeing as this question gets asked every time, and every time there is whining about it  - just when was the last time a full AWs international wasn't shown on SKY?   How many haven't they shown in the last 5 years?

The way people go on about it you would get the impression that they have shown one game in the last ten.

Sky have been showing the All Whites friendlies over the last 12-14 months, including the game with Mexico last year, so hopefully they won't be breaking with that tradition.

They snubbed the Chile pre-World Cup game Other than that Sky have been fantastic with AW games. People just seem to forget that you have to get up at 3am if you want to watch the AW's v Georgia or Serbia.

Its no longer a problem.

They had real problems trying to secure the rights to the China friendly...

I sent Sky an email to ask if they will be covering it and got the following response:

Thank you for your email.

We are still in negotiations for television rights for those matches and please be aware that we generally secure all the All Whites fixtures. Please check the EPG (electronic programming guide) closer to the dates to confirm any changes and updates.

Please feel free to contact SKY Television Customer Services on 0800 759 759 for further information, alternatively please respond via return email and we will endeavour to reply within 24 hours.

With kind regards,

SKY Online Support Team

So I guess if they are "securing the rights" it means we're safe to assume its all go

Yeah, but that wasn't an A international friendly - it had been envisaged as a training game with no cameras present, and as it turned out there were cameras there but it was still not an official game.

I've facebooked the Hunter Lounge at Vic Uni to see if they will play the game for all us students. 2pm on Thursday is probably one of the worst possible times to watch a football game, but sacrifices must be made.

marco is out, not travelling to USA. Vicelich is not playing in the Australia game due to a wedding he's got to attend. Tommy Smith looks to be out also. was on the radio just now.

And on Stuff

The All Whites left for Denver this afternoon without two of their brightest young talents with Tommy Smith withdrawn from the tour with a back injury and Marco Rojas ruled out of the first of two internationals due to illness.

Smith, who last night won the young men's player of the year award at the 2010 New Zealand Football awards is having treatment on a prolapsed disc in his back and will miss matches against Mexico on Thursday (NZT) and Australia in Adelaide on Sunday.

Meanwhile 19-year-old Marco Rojas, who has been laid low with a viral infection and did not train while the Australian-based All Whites were in camp, has been released to recuperate with his family in Hamilton before joining the team in Australia.

Replacements for the pair will not be called up, leaving the squad at 20 players after Tony Lochhead's injury-enforced withdrawal from the original squad of 23 last week.
