Ok here is the final run down of the details for Match 8pm Invesco Field New Zealand vs. Mexico

Tailgate 5pm Lot C (South End of the Invesco Field) - $5 admission for all food and beers. It is being put on by the Bulldog Supporters Club for both New Zealand and Mexican Fans. PDF file shows the layout of the parking lot.

Does anyone know if the game will be shown on TV in the US, can't get to Denver, but would love to watch on the telly...failing that doesn anyone have any streaming sites it might be on?

The only channel I'm seeing it in Denver is Channel 50 on DirecTV which is a local Spanish channel.......I would check out the Spanish channels in your area to see if the game is available

Good spotting....

Just spent 2 hours at the All Whites practice in Denver at the Colorado Rapids stadium, a nice sunny 20C day here, Spoke to to Ricki and he said the lads are doing well, but noted the point that we have 9 of the starting 11 missing fom the work cup.

Team spirit seems great, and the keepers got quite a work out. The go to Invesco Field for a practice tomorrow

No Nelson, Smith or Vicelich is a pretty bleak picture. I have written off Boyens as a good replacement as he fails at national level despite his solid recent consistent performances for chivas. It will be very interesting to see the starting line up.

The prospect of international games against any decent (i.e. not oceania) opposition without Nelsen at the back scares me just a little bit. Which is a worry.

As far as I am aware Vicelich is available for the Mexico game but unavailable for the Australia game due to family reasons. I think Siggy should definately be starting ahead of him anyway. We are a ittle stretched there but should be OK if no injuries are picked up.

You probably need Vicelich in there somewhere if available for a bit of experience. However in saying that how much longer is he really going to be around? and building a team towards 2014 is the key for a game like this that doesn't really mean anything.

Id definitely be keen to see some more of boxall, and perhaps gleeson, although i cant really see that happening

I don't think playing McGlinchy as a defenisve wing with 3 at the back is a good idea. I would rather Brockie played on the left, Fitzgerald on the right with McGlinchy in the middle joined probably by Brown. You could play Kosta on the wing but I would prefer to play him in a more natural position given his youth.

TBH its hard to see Herbert's formation work without to wingers that can actually defend. I would like to see this formation which stretched out looks like this 4-1-2-3 or 4-3-3. I would go: Boxall at right back, Vicelich and Reid in the center and siggy on the left (not many options for the left side). Elliot sitting behind McGlinchey and Brown in midfield and a combination of 3 of our strikers up front so Killen, Kosta, Wood and Smeltz. I just fail to see how 3-4-3 will be truly effective with the players we have available. I think a different formation would also show that Herbert is not a one-dimensional national coach.
