buying them on the day is mental - I am not flying all the way there to find out I can only get tickets in a different area to all the other NZ supporters.

Has anyone been able to get some advice from the NZFA about tickets for away fans?

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked

franie mac i live in dubai and am in touch with the bahrain fa regarding tickets.. if you want i can just get you the tickets and you can flick me the cash once you are here..tickets only go on sale a week before the game so next week i will be getting them. i am gettign a few for nz guys in dubai heading over.

let me know if you want me to do that

I have had a few other people contact me to say they are getting tickets themselves as well, but my concern is everyone gets them in different parts of the stadium. All I am trying to find out is if there is an official away zone, and is that where we are all getting the tickets for?

havign talked to the guy at the FA there is an are blocked off for the kiwi fans, and tickets will be GA meaning that you can sit anywhere, therefore if you buy a ticket you can just flash ya ticket and sit anywhere outside of the vip area.

Tried calling aswell but no luck at all.

The phone rings and rings but is never answered. I am taking the risk and everything is booked bar the tickets.

hey guys sorry for the late reply.. have ben away with work and came back with chronic eye infection so have been walking blind last couple days..

i calles the guy last week and he told me tickets will be released 5 days out so i emailed my other contact at the bahrain fa and have heard nothing.

i am meeting michael glading (ceo nz football) in bahrain so if worst comes to worst he is a top man and he would be able to arrange the tickets for us.. i will keep on it today though for sure and will post later in the day for updates..both guys at the bahrain fa have assured me tickets will be no problem, and even though lines like that here in the middle east arent to be read into too much, i am cinfident they have between 1500-2000 tickets for nz fans.I will talk to some more people today who work with the Asian football Confed and see if they are able to help..

il hopefuly have som news in the next 2-3hours

I just got through on that phone number, the guy pretty much just kept telling me to come to the stadium on Saturday and purchase them then. He pretty much didn't seem to think I needed to reserve any etc.

So I am guessing it will be alright on the night...so to speak.

If we build it, they will come...
