China/Japan Squad Discussion
Three for me, and two for them.
Robinson? Really?
Robinson? Really?
Checked the NZFC site and the keeper was Andy Ralph.Assuming Napier Phoenix is talking about the game on the 31st of october.
He appears to be an Englishman.

Just a question.
So you watched the game then?
Both goals v Auckland my view of the game.
If you had been looking and not going only by newspaper reports.
Stu Kelly 1st goal.
Came from a free kick with the Auckland attackers run not being picked up by a Canterbury defender.
You could see that he got his hands to but not holding the ball at the same time as Dan Terris took his own keeper out with a rugby tackle from behind.
Kopricic 2nd goal
His shot was going wide and took a deflection which Batty got a hand on but couldn't keep it out.
Could have done better with both goals but unlucky on both as well.
I agree he was playing better last season and dominated his area every game.
Robinson? Really?
Never saw him play, but if he's behind Robinson in the pecking order there that tells me a lot.
EDIT: Just checked Wiki which seems to suggest they're both English.el grapadura2011-01-31 16:16:00
Gleeson, in that Wilkinson inerview he all but confirmed he is getting a contract and expects hims to be challenging for the number one spot within two years.
Which if true, would make someone around here look pretty stupid.
Behave yourself

Altrincham took on Andy Ralph as their second goalkeeper in the last week of July, 2008, after he had played in some of the pre-season games. Manchester-born Andy started out as a trainee with Tranmere Rovers before being released in 2002. After trials with Chester City he joined Vauxhall Motors, where he broke his arm early in the campaign of 2002-03. However, Andy was the Motormen's keeper in their FA Cup win over QPR in November 2002 when his save in a penalty shoot-out was a vital factor in the outcome. He later joined Northwich Vics, from where he went on loan to Witton Albion in March 2005. After being briefly at Bangor City (summer 2005), Andy was with Marine for a couple of years or so until the summer of 2008. Though still relatively young, Andy has the experience and ability to compete with Stuart Coburn for the first-choice jersey. He made his league debut for Altrincham as a half-time substitute for the injured Stuart Coburn against Histon on 1 November 2008, having previously started two cup matches for the Robins and then made his BSP debut for Alty on 15 November 2008 at Forest Green.
After a series of steady performances, Ralph gave away again to Stuart Coburn. To keep match fit he briefly was loaned to Trafford in early 2009 but in February he emigrated with his job to Australia. Career appearances for Altrincham: 10(+1)..

Also based on the AucklandPhoenix theory; Aaron Clapham will not make the squad, and Andy Barron should never have been there, ever.

Boy if anyone deserves an A-League contract it's Aaron Clapham!

Old news bro
If the stats are correct, 1.75 and 1.80, is not that small.Mac I know, so no problems. Can't make a comment on Keat as I have never seen him play.
If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid
CB is kinda stacked at the moment with Nelsen, Reid, Sigmund, Boyens and even Old (playing at a higher level than Cunningham).
Of course yes so no I doubt Cunningham will get a shot.
2nd best thanks for the research but I rest my case
So youre not the bridesmaid this time
