tell the advertisers you are boycotting their products because of the scheduling. that will probably be effective

Have just sent off note to advertiser! This is hopeless!

Something like this should do it

To Whom it May Concern,

TVNZ has chosen to air your ads during a live football game between New Zealand and Brasil. We will be requesting our fan club Yellow Fever (membership estimates 2, 500 to 4000 allowing for duplicate memberships) to boycott your products for the duration of the olympics and longer if they see fit.

We await your response and that of the broadcaster,

Sincerely,

Kid Cosmo the space alien and friends

Ill just tell you whats happening as we see it here in NZ.

Killen had a deflected shot after a mix up from defence.

We're currently springing a few passes together

Good phase of possession and great ball to Killen on the right side but no support with four Brazilians pressuring him. Very sad. Where was the right midfielder and centre midfielder?

we need to string a few more passes together before booting it away as someone said. their midfield isnt putting that much pressure on ours

Got better towards the end and tried passing, our best players at the moment is Brockie, Peverly who looks very good in the midfield, Elliott is poop.

But to me our best player is Hogg. All their attack is down the opposite flank. He's making overlapping runs, and not giving the ball away. Very impressed by him.

Scott looks to be getting the run around, but hey, the marcelo, ronaldhino combo is impressive.

Never a yellow, never.

Three for me, and two for them.

that card was ridiculous.

Brockie gets yellow for challenging the ball, which is apparently forbidden

That guys Ronaldinho is pretty good. Ricki should sign him up before someone else does.

Its no longer a problem.

half time much better 2nd half of that first half. They spent more time on the ball and put a few good balls though. Bring on the 2nd half.

So. 2-0 at the Half.

I don't think we've been all that bad personally. Responded well to that early goal we conceded and were somewhat unlucky to be caught on the break for their second. Credit to them they're on another level obviously but i think we've held our own so far. Ref has been shocking though.

Brockie missing the Belgium game ARRRGHHH!!!!

Three for me, and two for them.

we played a bit in the last ten. terrible yellow for brockie. ive seen some shockers from the officials in this tournie.

and Larmer is the lamest commentator. he hasn't made one interesting comment. no analysis. no added value. doesnt have a clue.

Is it me being harsh or does Spoonley get caught off his line too much? 2 of our 3 goals conceded in this tournament have gone sailing over his head as he been caught bit too far off his line..

Allegedly

brazil sprig our legs, dive, do whatever they bloody want and they get a freekick.

we get nothing,we get yellow cars for a nothing challenge.

seriously pisses me off! we dont get any breaks at all!

The sad thing for us is that the brazilian team is not even hitting their straps. It's a bit of a walk in a park for them. We seem not to have enough ideas of what to do with the ball from the second third to the attacking third. Our defence is doing their best, but long ball is used too much as the penultimate/ultimate pass. We need to mix it up.

TEGAL
he stands lik 2 to 3 feet off his line,i dont knw why im not a keeper but both goals...yeh

On his line for the second would of made it look worse by been off his line a little bit he cut down the angle and atleast got close

If he gets chipped then fair enough otherwise, his positioning is fine

Chipped off headers though? Im a bit of a (useless) keeper myself, and did kind of seem to be off his line on both occasions, not in much of a position to save either imo.

Just wondering if it happens often..
