We're confirming an allocation direct with NZF for active supporters. Please link in of you want to be included.

There are so many options for accom depending on your wants, needs and budget. Full package tours and central city hotels for NZD$1k+ a day, crashing at a friend's couch, Air BnB, and we are looking at group base options at more affordable 3* level 1-2 hours outside host cities.

Is your allocation for active support the special US$60 tickets?  Or are these separate?  

We had already surveyed all ours at the different price points.

40% less would have come to all three games at the Tier 1 450/500usd pricing. So we went for Tier 3 140/180usd.

When the 60 came out after it meant they are further back and behind and no guarantee of linking with us. So the group stayed, objective is a block of seats and to produce the best support possible so the vibe in the group for that mission is really strong. It also means more $60s available I that first ballot for everyone else. I think anyone that puts in up to Cat 2 will have a very very good chance

oh ok, they say you can give friends a unique code so you can all sit together, is that the block you're talking about.

I'm only going to the games in Vancouver.  I've missed out on the $60 tickets and hope I can get tickets through the ballot now. 

Does anyone know if you apply for NZ tickets with PMA and the random selection that you may end getting them both and end up with extra tickets you don't need.  I've read the FAQ's but this doesn't seem to be covered.  I just want to make sure I don't miss out on any tickets altogether.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

I got the email from NZF saying that demand for the tier 3 tickets exceeded supply and that people should consider changing their selection to tier 1 for a better chance of getting tickets. I logged into my account and couldn't find any way to update my selection. I then looked at prices and even if I could change them, I'm not prepared to pay USD$450. I'm just resigned to fate and seeing if I'm successful with the ballot. If not, I'll be having a nice two week holiday in Vancouver as flights are already booked.

Anybody got any idea of how oversubscribed cat 3 was and what the odds are of being successful in the ballot?

I'm pretty sure I only selected one and I still wasn't successful.

With 500 million requests, I'm not hopeful of being successful with getting any tickets.

Unfortunately it was too late.  I selected tickets through the random and PMA.  Received confirmation emails so does that mean they'll cancel one of my applications?  I also applied for Switzerland/Canada. Long shot but you never know right.

Oh well I guess I'll see what comes out from the 5th of February.

Just a humble suggestion, surely 40 World Cup game tickets are going to be sure things to sell sometime between now and the games themselves? Not a very risky thing to borrow money for, if it is a case of doing that vs losing tickets for the whole block of fans?

Nothing, would have been good if they gave us a time like GMT or USA pacific time or something.

Will say if your application is "Abandoned" or "Booked" when you hit "See details". I am pretty sure Abandoned is bad news and Booked is good news. I myself got lucky!

Just received my email from FIFA.  Was successful/partially successful.  The successful was the most expensive tickets of course.  

So did you miss out on anything? My email said "successful/partially successful" as well but I got everything I'd requested (supporter value tier tickets for NZ games) 

I got the “sorry but you were unsuccessful “ email and I’ve never been so happy as I managed to get tickets with the Flying Kiwis so didn’t want to double up. 

Also got the unsuccessful email, looking for 2 x tix for the Vancouver group games. Flights and accommodation booked…..any ideas?

Received the FIFA email this morning. Unsuccessful for 2 tickets in Category 3 to both NZ games in Vancouver through the NZ Football ballot. 
Similar outcome to the ballot for the US60 tickets. 
So now to the FIFA marketplace and try for tickets at a markup premium. Oh well.
I guess it's good anyway that NZ Football will have totally full supporter sections.

I got these through the ballot.  But I've also got a ticket through flying kiwis. I was going to put a temporary stop on my card to prevent FIFA from taking money but if someone wants these I'll let the payment go through.  Let me know though as soon as possible. Face value of course

I missed out on the cheapest tickets for  NZ games and Canada v Switzerland one.  But that wasn't surprising.

So did you miss out on anything? My email said "successful/partially successful" as well but I got everything I'd requested (supporter value tier tickets for NZ games) 

I missed out of R32 and R16 tickets (Cat 3) in Seattle - but didn't get an email (yet). I found out by checking my FIFA Account this afternoon. 
I've got tickets to NZ games in Vancouver through Flying Kiwis (and R32 if we make it through).
I suspect the secondary market will be active, and possibly not much more, if at all, than face value ... if you time it right.

Edit: The "you are unsuccessful" email arrived later in the day.
