yeah he should be atleast business class. same with the nix players.  it's a long flight to be couped up in economy. fully understand where they're coming from

Give over. NZF is skint. If he doesn't want to play unless he gets to fly business class then drop the dickhead. Play Chris Wood.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Seriously? What a douche. Plymouth should have to pay for that,or himself if he really gives a toss. Have NZF given in to this request?
NZF cannot afford to be flying players in business class. Sets a bad precedent.

Allegedly

Does Nellie fly Business Class at the expense of the NZFC?  If so, then the other players should.  If he doesn't, then the other players can pay for it from their own pocket if they want it.  Maybe Fallon could pay for it from the Big/Bad t-shirts sales.

think Rory is turning out to be a bit of a prima dona, sure fly business class, but before you moan to the press how about checking the facts you moron. He may be a good striker, but come on, this guy has moaned about so many things since qualifying for the world cup, YF using his image, not wanting to play in the friendly to help his club avoid relegation, and know about not flying business class when he actually is....what a cock.

He is acting like s spoilt little sh*t.
Come back after you play a few more games for us and then make some requests.
He decides to join nz because he wasn't good enough for england. Plays three games. scores a winning goal in the qualifier and then acts like he is New Zealand's saviour.

Get over yourself Rory.

I wonder what the facts & policies are around this, i.e. who gets exemptions and how are they paid for??

  Thankyou!

Funny how people make up these 'demands' that Fallon is supposedly making, and ignore all he actually says that is very supportive of NZ.

Other article on stuff has Glading having a bit of a go at him, saying he was all flying premium economy which is the old business class, as are all the European players and the Nix boys

what a dork. glad he scored the goal against bahrain, but he seems like a bit of a t**ser!
he sounds like he's 5 again and his little sister got a slice of cake that was slightly wider than his.
maybe he should figure out what premium economy was before packing a sad. no one else seems to be complaining. Even the Nix players who are playing a knockout match just after they get off the plane in wellington.

douche!

I think he has to ask himself "What would Jesus do".

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Hold on, you guys, everything I've read in those articles quote Plymouth staff whining on Rory's behalf, not Rory speaking for himself.

In this thread Rory is called a dickhead, douche, prima donna, moron, cock,t**ser, spoilt little sh*t,dork,t**ser(again) and douche(again).

Totally unnecessary and pathetic.

Seems to be a storm in a teacup created by the gaffa and his agent.  Rory even said that if he got business class then so should everyone else.

the articles in papers can be excusable due to journo's being journo's just to make a story. but he appeard on 3news and didn't once deny any of it. he was complaining that they should all be treated the same, when, if he done 2 minutes of research, he would've realised that they were all being flown over in the same class. premium economy.
instead of requesting royal treatment, he should be greatful of the fact that he has been given the opportunity to play at a world cup. if he doesn't like it, he can stick to playing football in a team that is fighting relegation from the lower leagues in england.
he's no david beckham, yet he acts like he deserves more.

He wasn't requesting royal treatment.  It was his manager and agent.

And we don't know who told his he would be flown economy.  More than likely it was his agent.

Our premium economy is their business class, easy for them to be confused. Surely they see the difference, now . . . after we explain to them. Now if they want to see us in our first class then thats another story. . . .
