on twitter everyone seems to be comparing prices to All Blacks games and Guns and Roses concerts

so here is another one that is interesting

World Cup Qualifier Peru v Colombia (the last qualifying game in the group) Ticket prices (in NZD) $25 / $81 / $129

Someone should tell Ticketek that there is no such thing is a 'per ticket transaction fee'!  It's either a per ticket fee, or a transaction fee. It can't be both!

that was my misquote from the football website. But there is a "per ticket" fee!

Getting back to process, is there a way to ensure that the fever will all be concentrated in the same part of White Noise? Also, a way of reducing the possibility of the Auckland style "sit down we can't see!" type shambles.

Are we going to be targetting a cluster of rows for example?

Edit: Or will our 'special link' be for just one part of the zone, so it is more or less guaranteed?

I know, I know, its serious!

World Cup Qualifier Peru v Colombia (the last qualifying game in the group) Ticket prices (in NZD) $25 / $81 / $129

GDP per capita:

Peru - 6,000

New Zealand - 39,000

Peru's tickets were far more expensive for the average Peruvian.

The game will sell out even at those prices. Lions v All Black tickets were from $149 to $499.

Yeah, but the All Blacks were expected to win. And there's a fair bit of hype/history with All Blacks v Lions series. All Whites v Peru, less so.(on both counts)

Given it's taken them this long to announce the prices, I wonder what they had in mind if we'd ended up with Argentina (or the other teams with more marketable players?)

Some tickets high up in silver areas will probably be better than tickets low down in gold areas.

Easy. Premier League games involving top clubs often sell out. Their prices are far too high, often pricing out actual fans from attending. This will attract lots of attention from casuals, so it probably will sell out. Doesn't mean NZF are right with their price structure.

Three for me, and two for them.

I'm an idiot. NZ Football wants the side facing the cameras to sell out first and will then open up those whited out blocks for sale.

Having the white noise zone 'boundary' going down the middle of the seats in 22C (not an aisle) is asking for trouble. (or are the grey lines not aisles?)

I wonder how many free tickets will he given to the FIFA freeloaders as well as the NZF, hence our tickets cost so much.

Hmmm..so once I have accepted that I don't want to sit behind goalmouth, then for the jump from gold to platinum I may as well bite the bullet, reduce the long blacks and go for platinumb.  And be undercover(no price point that I can see?)

Can I just say that NZF, Ticketek, and Shane Harmon from Westpac have done bloody great work on helping to sort this out.

You'll be fine. No one checks. Just scan quickly! I know a guy (mid 30's) who buys a student season pass to the Nix games. Has been doing it for the past 5 years lmao.

Why only 300 seats? judging from the above picture the white noise zone will hold around 2000?

If people want to attend football on the cheap in Wellington they can just go to any Phoenix game, all of which are very well priced. This is just a one off game. I would rather poor people be priced out of this game if that money went to helping talented poor kids to get into an academy. Those EPL teams often lose money and are forced to hike tickets because of that.
