So we can get the regular core of Fever faithful in the same area. Rather than scattered across two aisles.

on twitter everyone seems to be comparing prices to All Blacks games and Guns and Roses concerts

so here is another one that is interesting

World Cup Qualifier Peru v Colombia (the last qualifying game in the group) Ticket prices (in NZD) $25 / $81 / $129

I hate when I hit 'This' the first time rather than 'Quote'.

From a Peruvian friend in Lima. Tickets at that Colombia game were being scalped at 10 times face value, such was the demand to get to the game. Tickets resold for up to $USD400. I guess when as a fan you are this close to seeing your team at their first world cup in 36 years - you get a bit excited.

$NZD100 is good value. Stop your squealing

If the game sells out how can anyone criticise NZF?

Easy. Premier League games involving top clubs often sell out. Their prices are far too high, often pricing out actual fans from attending. This will attract lots of attention from casuals, so it probably will sell out. Doesn't mean NZF are right with their price structure.

If people want to attend football on the cheap in Wellington they can just go to any Phoenix game, all of which are very well priced. This is just a one off game. I would rather poor people be priced out of this game if that money went to helping talented poor kids to get into an academy. Those EPL teams often lose money and are forced to hike tickets because of that.

Seems the money will more likely go to paying for a charter plane to take the All Whites to Peru.

Rob Pickstock from NZF said on the 6 pm News on TV 3 tonight that a charter flight would cost $800,000.

Seems excessive...

He mentioned that there might be room for fans to travel on the charter flight too.

I really hope they push advertising for the Phoenix game the night after, even offer discounted tickets. It would be ashame to see the crowd drop from being sold out, to under 10k. Good marketing opportunity for the Nix

Doesn't show the stadium map plan right now but should do by 12.

Ticketek's waitlist email has gone out, and looks like it offers White Noise tickets from the off - unlike the link above it shows the stadium plan and pricing.

The YF link is for 300 tickets in the normally area where most of YF sits right in the middle of the zone. The rest of the White Noise tickets will be available at the same time to general public from the Ticketek pre-sale link.

I'll be jumping on a White Noise ticket. If I get one and it turns out I can't go to the game, which is a possibility, I'll knock the ticket out to anyone who couldn't get one in the WN zone today. Just putting it out there for future reference.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Congratulations to the YF team for sorting this. There should be some acknowledgment of the YF fans who have stood in these seats and supported NZ football for the last 10+ years. Having the regulars helps generate some proper White Noise and is good for all the fans. One of the frustrating things about the Bahrain game was the only chant that anyone could get going was "All Whites" (repeat infinity)...

Pathetic. Not apathetic.

That's a good idea... because fans looking at going won't have already all booked their flights.

Not everyone on the waitlist will be buying a ticket - let alone eight of them.

My bet is that a lot of people signed up just in case Messi was coming here.

True. I'm on the waitlist but won't be going due to a variety of reasons. Ticket price is not one of them and hopefully it sells out.

Yup, I think the waiting list definitely reflected the Argentina factor. Also wonder, now the ticket prices are out there, whether that will kill a few people's interest as well.

There's no actual code for the pre-sale according to the email I got this morning. It may just pick up that your login is attached to the pre-sale and let you buy tickets.

Anyone else notice they are adding a per-ticket fee of $2.50 plus a 2.55% credit card fee?  Cheeky bastards.

Always a hassle when these things go on sale while you're at work. Annoyingly not going to be able to try until about 1.30 so hopefully can still get silver tickets then, otherwise have to try the visa presale tomorrow.

It's taken a lot of work to get this sorted. Shane has been immense, and NZF have come on board. I suspect the shamble of QBE has probably helped in that regard.
