NZF expecting to sell it shortly after public sales start at 12pm Friday.
All Whites, Ferns, and other international teams
Intercontinental Playoff ticketing
Wonder what my chances are of securing a ticket before it sells out? Was gonna come up with the Coastal Crew then changed my mind but now I am wondering if I am going to miss out on a huge day
Looks like there are still tickets available in the White Noise section via the link posted by Balbi on page 15. If you go for a silver ticket in the general sale tomorrow then you'd be best to be on the website at 12 sharp.

Aye the tricky thing is I will be up in the mountains tomorrow mid day...no internet. I will try and sort something....somehow!

I'm so old school I'm still getting used to morse code after having moved on from smoke signals
But luckily I have had a word with someone who will try and get online at high noon tomorrow and will (hopefully) snag me a ticket. White Noise would be perfect but chances are slim so might have to settle for whatever I can get
Fingers crossed!
The Dompost was saying that capacity will be 38,000 so must be quite a bit of extra temporary seating put in.

By some massive fluke, I just got 3 white noise tickets
Pax 30728 - 30730
I wonder how many Peruvians (?) will attend?
The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!
I wonder how many Peruvians (?) will attend?
NZherald said that the Peru supporters block had sold out straight away. Also said there are 450 Peruvians living in NZ. including...bizarrely nearly 100 Peruvians working on dairy farms in Canterbury. Not sure how many Peruvians will be flying in from Peru. I think they now can get quick visas but it sounds complicated.
I would imagine that lots of Sth Americans would buy tickets in the Peruvian zone.
I think we're underestimating how many would fly over. It's a country of 32 million people who are desperate to make it, as this may be their best chance for a generation.
I wonder if the council is planning on a fan zone screen showing the match on the waterfront for those who miss out on tickets.
Allegedly

Sounds like a few coming from Australia
Know a group of Peruvians flying over from Queensland. The NZ visa can be a problem for them and not cheap ($200??).
Puts a bit of perspective to the squealing of some NZ football ‘fans’ about $100 match tickets

Reading this thread was a mistake, I am fudgeing heartbroken that I'm missing this.

Maybe some of those NZ fans you're having a dig at actually might have trouble justifying $100 on a football match. I've read several people saying that the game has been priced out of their range. I can afford to go, some people aren't in a position to. Digs like yours aren't necessary.
Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Bull shark. If you are a passionate fan, your ambition should be how do I make an extra $100.
This week how much TV did you watch, how much time on Facebook, how much time looking at 'funny' cat videos on You Tube etc etc???? Basically did you completely waste say 5 hours this week where you could have earned $20/hr = extra $100.
This is a game played every 4 years. So an extreme view would be can I think of a way to make an extra $100 in the next 4 years.
I spent 5 years at uni, plus another 3 years bumming around London (had completely wrong degree to make any serious cash over there) or backpacking overseas. I know what it's like live off an oily rag - but my goal was always how do I find the cash to do something, I seriously wanted to do. I did any myriad of shark jobs to earn that cash. A positive mindset of where do I find the money takes you a long way in life.
Now in my forties I'm semi retired, having had some business success. Read books like Rich Dad Poor Dad or Life of Non Conformity for some inspiration.
Of course an alternative is to think where can I save $100, ie not go to the pub for a few weeks - and that's better than just moaning about your financial predicament/or blaming the govt! - but it's only by thinking positive thoughts about the world is my oyster, and thereby cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset that you will kick big goals.
Rant over.
I like your crazy idea that at any point in any given week someone can just snap their fingers and pick up 5 hours of casual work paying $20 an hour.
I’d call myself a passionate football fan, but I nearly didn’t go at those prices simply because of affordability. Thankfully I have family who were good enough to help me out - not everyone is so lucky.

I'm all for the power of positive thinking, and I'm pleased for you that your business success has allowed you to be semi-retired in your mid-40s.
But the idea that people who can't justify or afford the $100 ticket price are only in that position because they aren't trying hard enough or don't see the world as their oyster is not only quite poorly thought through, it's also quite insensitive.
There is no doubt in my mind that there are real people, trying hard, who just can't afford a ticket because it's quite expensive. I feel for those people. I don't think I'm cleverer or harder working than them just because I can afford a ticket.
Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Here's a shorter version...

Express Football Special Calling At
Fratton Park - Champion Hill - Kiwitea St
And all away grounds inbetween.

Dunno. Maybe. Forties. Pakeha. I guess that’s enough.
In a distant life, shore sheep as one summer uni job. Not sure if privileged kids do that.
Others may argue a life of privilege is having other people pay for stuff, rather than your own hard earned.
Nothing like a semi political rant to get the temperatures boiling. Apologies for the insensitivity.
Still think match is reasonably priced, which in my clumsy way was looking to state.
