well not good, but I guess it helps with Ricki's selection headache upfront.
If we build it, they will come...

do you think the game will be shown on iraq goals?

maybe.. they have had a lot of games lately. Though who knows. It'll be pretty low key

No Chris Wood now either so Smeltz and Fallon are the only two strikers in the squad.
Nelsen is fit though and will join the team for this one.

Chris Wood is also out - "Fallon will now start the Jordan match, after the injuries to Killen and Wood"

What's happening with Chris James? Is he no longer thought of as a play maker? or just out of form at the mo'? Seemed to be quite pormising....

LF1 - I'm guessing there'll be Sweet FA of the Jordan game on telly, will there be anything on radio?

Guys, if anyone knows of any kind of coverage can they let us know on here. Really big game in terms of build up, cant believe its not on. Well actually can believe its not on but it sucks.

Brown
I'd like this to be played, a chance to better assess Scott for the RB position and Barron, Nelsen or Vicelich at DM. Only 4 other players on the bench, none of whom I can see starting providing everyone is fit when the playoff rolls around.

Is Ivan Vicelich in good form for the all whites?? Sorry had to ask as Iv hardly seen him play. How is he doing for Auckland FC?

Ask Ubergunner. I'm on leave this week so being up by 6:30 isn't endearing itself to me.

OK.
Talked to the Boss.
We can open up and have it on the big screen, and serve coffees at halftime. Breakfast isnt an option at short notice. Also we can ahve the Scotlad versus Netherlands game from EPN live on another tv at the same time for thos interested.
Will need firm interest though to get more than myself in to open up at that time.

Is there anyway you can get Wallace Chapman to wear a White Noise Teeshirt on the Backbenchers show the night before?

I had to go through a lot of hoops but I finally got someone at sky business to confirm that both this game and the Scotland vs Netherlands game are being shown Thursday morning @ 7am.
the problem for us is we have to make a decision to open early or not based on this coverage, and getting things organised without official confirmation of coverage is hard.

International Friendly Preview: Jordan - New Zealand
The All Whites have an important and final warm-up game...

Jordan have some preparations of their own as they face two vital 2011 Asian Cup qualifiers with Iran in November after collecting just one points from their opening two games.
Matters didn't take a turn for the better last weekend and the West Asians were slated in the local media for goalless draw with a young Malaysia team.
Last Test For Kiwis
While Saudi Arabia and Bahrain are locked in a fierce tussle in the Asian play-off for the 2010 World Cup, New Zealand have the luxury of waiting to see which of the two they will face in a final face-off in October and November.
But the All Whites are not sitting idle; they are in action in Jordan in an important warm-up for their future West Asian test.
It is New Zealands last match before playing either Bahrain or Saudi Arabia in October.
The second leg takes place in Wellington in November.
"This match is very important -- it's certainly a dress rehearsal for the opening qualifier on October 10," coach Ricki Herbert told New Zealand Radio.
"It'll be quality time, five days together with a very competitive game in an area of the world we'll be coming back to in a month's time."
TEAM NEWS
Jordan
The hosts are set to field the same team that couldn't put Malaysia to the sword.
New Zealand
The Oceania champions have injury problems. Celtic striker Chris Killen has withdrawn as has West Broms Chris Wood which gives Rory Fallon of Plymouth Argyle a chance to show what he can do.
It just means Rory will probably get 90 minutes which is extremely exciting for his first cap," Herbert said.
"We know what Chris Killen can do and we know the potential of Chris Wood, which is great, so it just means the door of opportunity swings open even wider for Rory."
There is some better news however as captain Ryan Nelsen is fit to play after recovering from an injury sustained in Blackburn Rovers opening game of the Premier League season in August.
PREDICTION
This is a game that both teams want to win but home advantage will count.
Jordan 1-0 New Zealand
