Steve Cain has quit as coach of the New Zealand under-17 men's soccer team only two months out from the under-17 World Cup in Mexico.
Cain, who took the Young All Whites on a two-week training camp in Qatar last month, stepped down because of personal reasons according to New Zealand Football.
Aaron McFarland, co-coach of Auckland City and an assistant coach of the under-17s in 2009, will take charge of the side in Mexico.
The under-17 World Cup begins on June 18 and the draw for the 24-nation tournament is made on May 17.Founder
