Any suggestions why FifaPlus isn’t working after it did for the first game?

It’s working for me - maybe a region-locking thing for you with a Japanese broadcaster having the rights?

Figured it out. I asked a stupid question to my wife like- can you check if this is on TV or something (answer no) instead of can you please check where I can watch this in Japan …it was all my fault !

He got his hand to it comforfably, it was some distance within the posts, a good shot, not a clanger, but definitely saveable

That’s not a foul by Kelly ref. Grrr. And while you’re at it Japan is trying really hard to get yellow cards?

Man, I’m feeling conflicted!

At this rate we are going to need a Cuba/Australia draw AND a Spain/Brazil draw to see us through

Our guys look like they have heavy legs. Japan looking less so.

I suppose going around the player was a 100% safe option, but that’s an accidental coming together, not even a foul.

And that prick with the dreads is on about 3 yellows.

Can they give yellows and FKs under the review system? With VAR it's red or nothing and play on, seems strange that they'd give a yellow there

If I had Greenie’s ear I would have got him to challenge that foul with Ishiwatara hands all over whoever that was. Just to shark talk the bs in that yellow and the challenge in the first place.

If it stays 1-0 in this game and if Egypt comes back to win 2-1 against Chile, I believe we will go through in 2nd on the fourth tie-breaking criterion (group GD) as NZ, Chile & Egypt would all be deadlocked on head-to-head, head-to-head GD & head-to-head goals scored

Came to say similar, how Ishiwatara doesn't have at least one yellow is a nonsense. Fouling machine.

Its a bit sad but we dont really seem to be in this one. Rare extended periods on the ball or set pieces dont really eventuate to anything. This Japanese side is very strong and confident in their own ability. To be fair all our goals this tournament have come after going a goal down but its hard to see/envision Japan's standards slipping or where our spark might get ignited from.

Well they truely deserve to be ahead

Would bring on at half time Phoenix for Couilby

LBS for walker.

And anyone for McKenley

You never know, we may be able to pinch a draw

Auckland will rise once more

We lose the ball through our own doing than by Japan winning it off us.. Disappointing

One more Egypt goal sees us through, if we don't concede any more goals

Better period for us there. Some possession and looking for a way forward.

dammit,
did not need that
2-0

Smith didnt even need to touch the ball, better awareness would have confirmed he was all on his own

Queenslander 3x a year.

Unfortunately that'll probably put any chances of qualifying for the next round to bed now
