They all sat in the middle and waited for the cross - which aint a bad idea if Marco is at his best.

We are static, theres no movement off the ball or it appears any communication. It's all  just get ball at the back and lump it forward.
The other interesting thing is how easily we are getting muscled off the ball, doesn't say much for our strength and conditioning prep.

I'm not expecting the boys to be world beaters but they should at this level be able to string more than 2 passes together.

Marco needs to be wide rather than CAM. Never gets any ball there and when he does there's no room for him to run with it. I've always thought he's a natural wide player and don't understand the central attacking position he wants to play. Definitely doesnt help with the game plan we have.

almost HT Uruguay 0 - 1 Cameroon. with 3 minutes added plus an injury in that time to Cameroon Goalie will this mean 2nd half starts later too.. or are they synchronised?
Also just realised, Cameroons player has a headband on!

I always though Marco preferred a central attacking role?

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

He prefers it but I think he's more effective wide.

Rojas has never been or never will be a central midfielder, he as people have said is far more efective on the flanks and cutting inside or beating players and crossing

Good effort but he really should've played it to the left, the guy was completely free and in on goal!

Pretty sure it was the international feed rather than sky - their logo and info box were still up.

Rojas doesn't need to be yanked he needs to be pushed out on the flanks he's wasted in the middle.

yeah nice display of Portuguese diving there. milking it for all its worth. Would we make it through if we scored a goal and the other games ended 1-0 to Cameroon??
