So if we beat these guys (without the admiral) we proceed to the next round, assuming Brazil beats China?

Seems like a tough ask. Picking Old to come back and have a great game, on faith and a decent qualifying campaign.

Certainly can't have had a tougher preparation than last night

<!-- bmi_SafeAddOnload(bmi_load,"bmi_orig_img",0);//--> yep. if China draw or lose to Brazil and we beat Belgium then we are through!

sounds pretty easy to me.

Belgium are a good side. we are going to need a lot of luck and better performance than we gave against China.

If we build it, they will come...

Brockie's suspended for it.  But Old will be back.  We will have to be on the top of our game.  When is it played?

Hope we don't just kick the ball away. I heard they bet a 9 man China 2 - 0.

At what point of the game did they get sent off. Makes a big difference in how i see the scorline.

Ryan has asked Paul Ince for extended leave to play against Belgium. Hopefully to make amends for what I thought was an average display against Brazil.

Its no longer a problem.

The first guy was probably sent off for kicking himself in the shin. The second red was actually not a card. It was Chariman Mao's little red book.

Just read on stuff that Nelson's had to go back, couldn't get the extension from rovers. Punk.

If you'd care to go to www.sportswebsoccer.com, you'll find a whole heap of stuff on the Olympic Football Tournaments.

Amongst the stories are full reports on both yesterday's games in Shenyang.

Cheers,

Belgium have lost two quality players aswell which helps us. Vincent Kompany is back off to Hamburg and i forget the strikers name, but he's off for the qualifying rounds of the Champions League.

Squads just evened up a bit.
