good to see musa again, I wonder how hes been going. Why not call up S.Roux?

musa and Dura starting CB?

Musa has been on trial at Hearts in Scotland in recent weeks after a bout of illness with glandular fever laid him up since March.

He'd settled in well on loan from Fulham at Hereford Utd in the Conference Premier and cemented a starting place when illness hit.

Sorry if discussed earlier but what kind of lead up have some of these players had? On other threads I've recently heard of Claps just off 6weeks holiday in Asia with the GF and howieson getting 2 starts in 10 weeks with Doncaster.

Kotahitanga. We are one.

and Musa !!!

had forgotten that clown...

Think its more about seeing a pretty good Jordan side by all accounts rather than Emblems desire to give Jake Butler a testimonial game

Rather like getting a sympathy shag really

Good too see de Jong making progress, how can he possibly justify Christie and Butler playing any level of international Football for NZ

Interesting ... funny,  but probably not intentionally .... a worthwhile call to arms anyhoo .... unless its because you think they should be called  "Aotearoa "?

This should be a good game as Jordan have continuity and form on their side this year and need to perform well heading into the playoff match with Australia (who they have already beaten).I'm really just hoping our U20 lads play well and don't get injured.

I see Jordan beat Libya in a home friendly 1-0 last week, making a run of five straight wins in internationals this year -  13 goals scored, one conceded. Will be very tough opposition:

Fri 01/02/13     FRI    Jordan 5 - 0 Indonesia
Thu 07/02/13   ACQ  Jordan 4 - 0 Singapore
Fri 22/03/13      FRI     Jordan 1 - 0 Belarus
Wed 27/03/13  WQA   Jordan 2 - 1 Japan
Tue 28/05/13    FRI     Jordan 1 - 0 Libya

Their coach, Adnan Hamad, is the former Iraq national coach. Most of the squad play in Jordan but about five play in Saudi Arabia.

i'm delighted that we are now keen to play b internationals.  it's something we need to do more of to get the next tier up to a good level seeing as our national league is not at a level to do so by itself.  it also gives these guys potential exposure to professional asian scouts.

also good to see it televised.  i'm looking forward and hoping to revisit the difference between a neil emblen coached side and a ricki herbert coached side.  emblen's team was very positive at the olympics.

the christie haters are getting a bit nausiating btw

yeah, to me it's a bit mean.  christie plays at a certain level, we all he's not the best player we've ever produced, but there's no need to hammer the point because we're not exactly endowed with wynton rufers

Just to let those of you living south of the Bombays know, it's been absolutely tipping down here in Auckland most of the day. If it's still doing same at kick-off I'm guessing the Jordies won't have played in these conditions ever. Of course I could be wrong. I'm not always right.

Ridenton and patterson added to the side. Exciting to see these two.

Cool, I had said earlier i would like to see Patterson added in.

To be fair I know very little about Riddenton, but if i am recalling correctly he's a striker and recently was picked as the best player at the Nike Challenge (or similar) by the Barcelona coaches attending... or I'm way off??
