Football Ferns coach Jitka Klimkova has made four changes to her team for their final SheBelieves Cup game v Czech Republic. Vic Esson, Abby Erceg, Gabi Rennie and Malia Steinmetz come into the starting XI. Claudia Bunge retains her spot at centre-back.

I'm positive things will go wrong.

so Alfield gets no game time, unless brought on as a sub today?
What's the point of taking her away from the nix?

hopefully Esson puts on a better show than Naylor has in the last two games,

much more composed start today - albeit against an opposition we are more evenly matched with. 22nd vs 24th

OMG - Bott with a great intercept and run into the box had support but opted for the shot when a pass to an unmarked player would have almost guaranteed a goal.

sucks to be the 3rd choice goal keeper!
0-0 at this stage  (84th) seems a fair result, both teams have had decent chances only to spurn them with poor decisions or off-sides and wood-work strikes. It's good to see our defence step up and Moore get a chance to erase the last game with 10 mins at the end. We need to be more clinical upfront.

Missed the start of the game on Sky was there any mention on why the Ferns were wearing armbands.

Pretty harsh conditions at -5C. Slippery and ball looked like it was skidding around alot. Makes first touch tricky. Thought CR were the better of the two teams overall. But credit to our D for keeping a clean sheet. Esson was great. also ALW recruits Steinmetz, Bunge and Anton did well and looked at this level. We are still obviously (0 goals over 3 games) struggling in the final 3rd. Current forward's just weren't able to hold up or control the ball enough to link up in any fluency. Thought it was good to see Klimkova try different things up front with Bott playing up high. Do Chance and Stott have niggly injuries or something? Thought those two could have had a bigger impact. Lots to work on for Klinkova particularly in the attacking 3rd. Bowen was best player for me. was solid in multiple positions. Maybe she should play higher up. What's up with Rosie White. Would she have made a difference?

We need to see Chance and Wynhamm (sorry for spelling) together. See what we can do with actual ball playing midfielders.

Wilkinson has proven she can score when given service.

USA beat Iceland 5-0 to win the SheBelieves Cup.
This comp has been good for NZ against good Euro opposition. Shows their is still some ground to be made up, but not that far off results wise.
Considering Iceland qualified for womens Euro's and Czech has had some solid results lately drawing with USA in this comp and the Dutch twice + Canada recently.
