I'll be making the tortuous journey to North Harbour, despite having one arm in plaster from wrist to shoulder! Should be a good day, although I think the last time I went to a World Cup game that NZ were involved in they lost 5 - 2 (must confess I wasn't too unhappy with the scoreline on that occasion ).Hoping for a NZ win today tho'.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

What ever happens we have to beat Denmark.

Another good game this, Colombia much better than they were against Denmark.

I like the idea of being at the Kings.  Not sure I like the idea of travelling.

Early game was okay.

Looked overcast and a bit of wind but nothing like here.  Christchurch looks good as well.

Forecast for tomorrow is improving, hopefully in time for the games.

Success being making it into the knockouts in many peoples eyes. Best shot at that is canada winning all 3,then we'd just need a win and a draw.

But yeah hoping to win both and get top of the group on goal difference now

If we win both now. There will be no goal difference as no other team can get six points.

Yeah,my bad. Was meaning to edit that.

A win and a draw would need goal difference for 2nd place. (if canada had won all then then it would have been enough)

2 wins will get us into the next round for sure, and will get us first place unless canada win their last game.

Sounds about right.

Quality John Helm there.

Essen in the goal dives backwards for a ball a mile over 'that is the most unnessecary dive I have ever seen - well, apart from the likes of Drogba'   Ha !
