great character displayed,

even though i have huge doubts about the wisdom of GM, if there  is a gene for finishing - we need a mega-team of Kiwi scientists working on making it available for our footballers

How nice was it to have a decent commentator?

Denmark too good but Kiwi girls far from disgraced.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Maybe they were having compressed air injected into them by the medical staff?

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Even though we lost you just have to applaud their effort AND what great football to watch. Fast and exciting with lots of movement. Ok... sometime they take the wrong option but jeesus they are only 15 and 16 years old. Some big tackles and body checks...players go to ground and there is none of the mouthing off crap we get in the mens game.

Well done girls....we will be at the ROF to cheer you on. You didn't deserve to lose either game!!!!

Just got back from the game. Atmopshere brilliant once again. Hard luck on the girls who had so many chances especially in that second half where they pretty much dominated the Danes but just couldn't finish. They certainly deserve a lot more than 0 points.

Hope we still get good crowds for the rest of the games up here, doubt the atmposhere will be near the same but would still be great to get 10k+ for the last two matchdays here.

Three for me, and two for them.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Ah ha. You wandered past me, slowly, at one stage. I have got one arm in plaster. Got the mo back, surprised you didn't recognise it

I'm proud of the kiwi Ladies, they gave everything in the two games so far. I could not have asked for more effort, passion, skill, discipline, and determination from them. They gave their "all". Ok, they lost, but to me in the two games I have seen, they are winners and so is womens football in New Zealand. They certainly have deserved a result for their two efforts.

Stand proud young women, you have done yourselves and your country VERY VERY proud.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Great passion, awesome that a Kiwi team can take it a team like Denmark right to the end.
Sadly no luck in front of goal. How long has Leo Bertos been shooting coach? Does he coach Nigeria as well?
