Is there likely to be any sort of dress code for fans wearing ridiculous outfits in order to have on everything white they own?  I.e. if you're in shorts...and long socks.

Yeah.  I'm assuming I'll just go to the Kings all night, and wanted to double check it's ok looking like a fool.  There are a couple of other places that cut some slack on a big weekend (such as during the sevens), as long as you're not going somewhere wanky you will get in to a few places.  Depending on sobriety of course

What else would you wear?  White pants?

I'd been struggling for an option.

Might need some longer white shorts though.  My Lotto's might not be warm enough.

Pants still fit.
Weight went on around the middle. Coming off quickly now thanks to a strict regime. Consisting of not being a lazy twat.

I forgot my tickets for this, then thought I'd go home and get them, but then by the time I got home there was no way I could go back out again, absolutely wasted by that point!

Gutted I never went though!

Sorry to be angsty BigDunc, but your bouncers were a bit dumb. I walked in,they took my ticket,a couple mins later I said "I just gave my tickets to you,I need to leave to find somebody, could i grab my ticket back so I can get back in?" He said no,and you're going to be full up by the time i get back,so he said i should stay. I asked what was the point in getting these tickets then? He said it wasnt his problem

. I think the point of the tickets was lost on your bouncers, who were in poor form in not giving my ticket back despite knowing and acknowledging i had one. I feel there was no point in me getting one at all,so felt very ripped off,and put a downer on my night somewhat.

Allegedly

I agree with this, I got a number of tickets for myself and friends at obvious expense and upon turning up at the Kings couldn't get in despite obviously having a ticket and was told by the bouncer when I inquired why, to: "f**k off I won't do what you tell me"

Disappointing aspect to a great night.

Like the guys who threw out Jamie Farrington.

Jamie is the least agro guy in Wellington football.  Fact.

Also a little bit of a LOL that while this was the "official NZF" party all the players and coaching staff were at Red Square.

Oops.

Least aggressive is not something said about Dave Rutherford, but he got biffed for juggling lemons... he'd be disappointed by that.  He normally earns it.

Im pretty dissapointed that some people have negative comments about the after party. Im sorry if you feel dissapointed. Appologies to those who were made to wait. Everybody who had a ticket were able to get into the event. I did say that those with a ticket would get in before those who didnt. At one stage there was a mass influx of people , we had to get things organised and some had to wait. Im surprised you were told that your ticket didnt mean anything as that was not the case. I'll look into it. We did have ne wsecurity staff on but this is no excuse.

Smithy, Im surprised at your comments and a little dissapointed as well. Im sure a man as intelligent as you would realise that Four Kings being the official bar and hosting the official after party is a commercial arrangement between NZF and our selves, the team and players are big boys and can choose where they want to have a drink after a game.

Cheers
