Fallon nearly at the near post!!!

Norwich City supporter since 1992, New Zealand supporter since 2010 but without Rory Fallon's winning goal against Bahrain, I won't know about New Zealand Football.

See, keep the ball down and pass it around and you create an opportunity.

That looked better.

half hearted showing from us so far. Missing someone really directing play.

My eyes are about to vomit. This is truly dreadful from us yet again. Hudson is a charlatan.

Nix, Leyton Orient and Alloa Athletic supporting schmuck.

I think I'll see more composed kicking of the ball and football skills in half an hours time from Cruden, then this rot.

Auckland will rise once more

Has a goal keeper ever been player of the tournamet for NZ at the Oceania Nations Cup before?  If not, I think Marinovic is looking likely this time.  So, so so sad.

I will say one thing, their supporters are great, very loud. As for our so called professional players, we are being out played.

They certainly play a more entertaining style than we do.

This could be really ugly, there is no reason to think we have a better chance to win than they do at this stage.. If it's close near 90 mins the home crowd will really get behind them too, as they did in the semi. I expect tiredness for our guys to be more of an issue than for them.

Marinovic is the real MVP.

I have no idea if this is sarcasm or not.

Sadly, a striker who has scored 1 goal (maybe 2?) in 50ish games for NZ seems like it might be one of our best options at this stage

Kotahitanga. We are one.

Everyone is playing two touch then hoof,  without looking our defenders play long balls every time. Our wide players just stay wide and don't run off the ball, patterson is trying to beat players but it is not working. It's barely football. In terms of a pattern of play its worse than  ASBP, probably quality wise as well

Normo's coming home

Half time stats very misleading. They don't even mention throw-ins - our principle attacking threat/ tactic.

I know, I know, its serious!

We don't help ourselves but...everything is stacked against us. Awful field, inferior facilities, dodgy reffing, truncated format, changing dates, and the rest.

I could handle it if we were being done over by decent opposition (i.e. how central America is pretty wild and Asia could be similar) but in Oceania it makes me just want to cry.

Then gouge my eyes out with a spoon when we find new and exciting ways to not overcome it despite our superior resourcing and personnel.

I haven't said this till now, but I honestly believe it.  Sack Hudson.  Win or lose.  This is ridiculous.

You may be right. This is a really disappointing 'style' of football. Even when we win, there is no way this is sustainable.

Wonder how long it will take Ernie to fix our players, he need this red laser pencil from Men in Black to erase the last three weeks from their mind.

I defended Hudson at the beginning..but I honestly believe this team would be playing better with no coaching.

How is it stacked against us? The conditions are the same for everyone.
