Can anyone get over the ball on shooting?

FDJ absolutely nails Hudson. wow.

That's a terrible option. You're colvey, you get the ball in that spot, why not try and pick out a man or put a cross in?

Normo's coming home

Box needed to do it

I wont be surprised if we lose this. I cant see us scoring.

As Fred said at the beginning, the awful field helps us.  It's the opposition that play with the ball on the ground in the last two games.

I defended Hudson at the beginning..but I honestly believe this team would be playing better with no coaching.

Yep, even throughout the tournament I thought he's doing these tactics because he hasn't had the game time with the team, i.e. the fault lays with NZF. But I also think about that game that Emblem was in charge and how good we were.

The whole NZF situation is ridiculous, they cleared the decks and brought in outsiders and for some reason things are worse than before there was the wholesale change.

Was refreshing Sky Go, what did he say?

Patterson does well but has absolutely no support there.

According to NZF Hudson is doing just fine. I've never seen in their metrics that winning tournaments is a credible target.

We can blame Hudson for all we like but he's probably achieving enough as per his employer's benchmark.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I watched italy beat Scotland recently. Italy played a long ball game but they played it long only once they were in Scotlands half. This meant that the gap between defence, midfield and the strikers was reasonably short and it was quicker and easier to support team mates. We are playing long from deep in our own half and our players are finding themselves isolated with little to no support.

We've been shark, but credit to PNG who have defended really well and pressed quite brilliantly at times.

Wait, why the fudge is Patterson being taken off when he's been playing well? Have 0 faith in Rojas doing anything

Why take Patterson off?

You know, I realise I don't want to watch this. I'm not enjoying it, I'm doing it out of some sort of misguided loyalty. But I'm bored and when I'm not bored I'm frustrated.

If we manage to win this I don't think it'll be deserved.

Brocks!

We could definitely still win, but it just won't change how I feel about this team right now.

Didn't mention his name, but just very simply and succinctly mentioned the problems with the tactics, the levels of reasonable expectations of this team and how the wind being against us might force it on us. I can't remember exactly the words.

and yellow for head clashes but not for deliberately taking out the keeper. We got to win this with some emphatic action and take the possibility for dodgy decisions out of the equation.

I know we have our frustrations with NZF but that could be taking things just a bit far Pete :p

Is BP suggesting food poisoning could be a reason for us losing tonight? :) This could be bigger than the AB's in Sth Africa.

What's sight without sound? Love without peace? Copulation without conception?
