How well did Rowe play?
 
Sure hope that this performance was just a first up rusty performance and the they will gel and start playing as a team. A bit concerned about the long ball stuff.
 
One thing for certain...if they qualify for the WC they will need a decent buildup of top quality games otherwise they will be exposed.

Luke Rowe was... so-so on Sunday. Looked good when he was near the ball but that wasn't often.

Meanwhile, NZ 3 -0 N. Caledonia after about 20m. Marco on fire, two goals already.

Just started watching 15 mins in ...already 2 nil to NZ.weather atrocious..won't suit New Caledonians, my guess.
Nice 3rd goal to Rojas 16th min after good passing sequence through midfield, great to watch and good finish.
Musa puts head on it to goal 2 mins later
New Caledonia 4 nil  down after 20 mins...!
...and as I finish typing Musa scores again..5-0 24 mins

Are they playing on turf or a normal pitch, it's hard to see from the stream?

It's a normal pitch, and if you think it looks dodgy now it's got a semifinal and a final to be played on it by Friday.

Tbh, my stream quality is crap, can barely see the pitch but agree great effort to have live stream with commentary from OFC.

I think Tahiti must just have been out of money or something. If American Samoa can make it in, there certainly isn't a rigorous qualifying series.
