Remember a draw is no good for us.  I'm still uncumfy.

long way from comfy Stevo - but not a bad start

hopefully the Solomon's players having not been rotated, plus 10 players running to cover 11 might all help

CMON!!

exactly - you can guarantee we'd get no favours from Fiji if it comes down to the final round of games.

16- Totori through with Old in pursuit great defending by

Old to take the ball away from the Solomon Islands dangerman

20- Benjamin Totori takes on Aaron Scott good defending by Scott

looks like our defence might be a bit stronger than what the Solomons have experienced so far in the tournament.

light rain falling, should cool the temp down, but increase the risk of mistimed tackles and ball skidding off the pitch (hopefully past their keeper)

good reading from the comm

26- Totori gets into good positions but hes outnumbered and the New Zealand defence is in excellent form and no mood to allow the Waitakere striker through

28- Cole Tinkler and Steven Old have Benjamin Totori locked down it seems and with a numerical advantage it looks like the Oly-Whites are in control

30- Totori looks a frustrated man for his team every time he gets the ball he is surrounded by white shirts

whew!!, long way to go

I might need a beer to settle the nerves.

Just PMed gourdie to see if the goal(s) - hopefully just 1!! - will be on 3 sports.

Expect he won't get it , but can't be arsed with their offical website and the password bollocks.

hadn't heard that but doesn't surprise me - never really looked like a player that would stick around for a long time...still, give us the Double, and I won't complain.

This is not good, island referees still full of retaliations, its a Vanuatu referee, remember Solo already beat Vanuatu..and no wonder this man Lencie Fred has given a red card to Mamae and did not flash a red card or even a yellow card to NZ No. 12 who elbowed Totori in the penalty area but then surprisingly gave a yellow card to Totori. I dont think Island referees should be take games in such important tournaments. USELESS Referring, OFC must take some actions!!

69- GOAL! Craig Henderson rifles home a wonder strike from outside the penalty area and there is no doubt about the legitimacy of that strike! 2-0 to New Zealand!

79'- The match has turned ugly with fouls being committed on a regular basis

it was fairly phasical before then - hopefully none of our lot will get clogged

We'd need a fair few goals to overtale sol's gd News - surely we won't need GD as long a s we hold on v 9 men for 10 mins and beat the cooks?? !!

right I'm going to brave the tv stations web sites - if we can lift the Oly-whites profile it'll make it harder for NZOC to prevent us from taking our place in BEJING!!
