Conclusion: we are incapable of scoring more than one goal in a match. That may be a problem in a must-win situation like Friday's.

also, all these games were against "better" teams than us (especially on paper).
had we played Tanzania, Papua New Guinea, Kiribati, Greenland, Netherlands Antilles, Andorra we probably would have scored a few more...

The key is that we had very good chances to score more than one goal in basically every one of those games. Perhaps we'll take our chances against Paraguay, who knows.

Or maybe the players took the 'One Shot for Glory' thing too literally?

At the end of the day we are punching way above our weight, and what ever happens they are massive under dogs, but f**k I'm proud as punch with what they have done. What ever the result they'll come back heroes. 1-1 and the diving Italians 0-0 and we'll be through
