As Ricki said in the Dom Post, they should get a big screen somewhere, make a big party atmosphere. Courtney place, or Queens Wharf i think.
All Aboard the Phoenix/ All Whites Bandwagon!!
ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH

You only know this because you made the call...
I suspect the concourse couldn't take a big screen truck (they're a bit dodgy on the sub being on there) and it's awfully exposed.
Queens Wharf - piggy back festival of football
Civic Square
Waitangi
Frank Kitts
Four Kings
All viable options.

Ideally, the playing area of a stadium should be free of any barriers between spectators and the playing field. FIFA has decreed that its final competitions will only be played in fence-free stadiums. However, it is essential that players are protected against intrusion by spectators. This could be accomplished in a number of ways, including one or more of the following:
"It must be repeated that FIFA is opposed to insurmountable fences and screens and rejects their deployment as a playing field protection strategy. Those who insist upon their use must be quite clear that in doing so they take upon themselves the responsibility of ensuring that they do not, under any circumstances, represent a danger to those using the stadium concerned."
i couldnt do it to a footy fan if i had spare tickets i would sell em at face not 3 times there value
I think outside TSB would be the best bet. I don't think the council would be that keen to shut down Courtney place. Or yeah outside four kings on th street could work. Again could be a little dangerous

Either this is a joke or you must have the biggest tinfoil hat out there. The NZRU are not the Bavarian Illuminati, they can't bribe FIFA, that would be like the Wellington City Council trying to bribe New York.Doloras2009-10-21 12:38:13

But they have seem to got to our media, if I hear Matt Freakin Gunn gush over sky one more time over their decision to broadcast 24 school boy rugby games, Im going to puke, hes been way over the top on night sport.
Also why the heck is TVNZ devtoing all thier time to who is in the all black squad for the end of their tour???
Surly you cant tell me, that the media and the NZRFU arent trying to kill hype for the All Whites.
Just wait and see, im sure a week before the match, they will bring out ther usual stories about Lomu to try and take away attention.
Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Meh, I think the school boy rugby broadcasts is a great idea. Will be cheap as they won't need many cameras gets community support and brings excitement to the local communities.

On the Saturday i'd expect both networks to be doing the news from Wellington. Its a big shame more tickets are not happening now, having 40000 at the stadium would have been awesome.
