Andrew, without giving away sources or anything could you explain a bit more about how the whole thing went down? What were the timeframes you working with and when did you first start digging?

any video? where would he fit in? He's a defender too right?

so what formation would we end up playing then? how many across the back? Is he a full back or a centre back?

Anyone know much about him? Has he got pace? I wish he was an attacking mid but would take a fast good counter attacking right back. Well actually would take anyone.

I would start Fallon over Smeltz given his NT form.

Reid is by far the best player to commit to us especially given his age and the fact he is on the up. It is not going to be easy to score against us now. This is probably more important to our future than the WC though.

A good solid back four is paramount for us. Hardly seen anything of tommy smith, is he better than Sigmund?
I think the formation would have Tim Brown next to simon, I see tim more as a defensive mid who ghosts in to score but is weak upfront with the ball.

Based on the Mexico game: He seems to have better technique, probably faster. Starting at a higher level. But Siggie is awesome.

Starting in League 1 is better than playing for the Phoenix? Hmmm....

Thought Smith showed some good things against Mexico, but also struggled in some situations. Don't think he's anywhere near ready to be starting in international football, although Siggy's not at that level either.

Probably change Smith for Sigmund and weemac for Brockie if he is available think our side would look more balanced and would be more of an attacking threat.

This one player has added soooooo much balance to the AW squad it is ridiculous. It pretty much ends any chance Mulli had of going to the World Cup too.
I think we need Gourdie to replace Seatter at Football NZ. He actually has genuine passion for the game. That man deserves a Heiniken.

Its no longer a problem.

+1

Also, although Seats to a lot of knocking (and dropped us in a huge financial hole) I don't think you can argue his passion - it was his desire to have us playing international football (after a long period of playing almost nothing) that cost the money, but IMO started the journey we are now on.
