From what i gather...they wondered why (in other sports) audiences were crap compared to eurpoe. Now after seeing a football atmosphere,they can see why europe atmospheres are so much better,because theyre based on a football atmosphere,rather than a silent rugby one.
Could be a complete misinterpretation of course?
Football in NZ atmospheres are hopeless, Last night was an exception with the majority of the 35,000 people couldn't even name 5 players in the all whites without looking at the magazine.
if they really did support the all whites, they'd be there for each and every game, in one way or another.
Look, 60,000+ fans fill out bar�a games when just versing teams that they are expected to vs.
You want an atmosphere, go to the Boleyn ground, and watch west ham vs millwall!
Good job though, last night, but we need this constantly. not the one off when they make it to possibly the most important game of there life.

I am sure that people are alway aware of the AWs but never really go out of their way to give their support. If you think about it, many people had their soccer days in school but stopped once they reach adulthood because there was not real sporting pathway in the sport as Rugby takes the spotlight. But that does not stop them loving their childhood game just changing their options and priorities.
