They said over the PA there was 8000 and something, however they carelfully said it was for the games on the day.  So could have been 3000 for the 4pm and 5000 for the 7pm.  Dunno.

I'd like to see the Nth Koreans win this, they've played the better football out of the two. I have a gut feeling though that the yanks will play like they did against Japan and just muscle the smaller girls around the park!

Axis of Evil versus the Great Satan. Mmmm...
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Would people please stop referring to North Korea as 'Korea'.  Only the South get that honour, for whatever reason I don't know.  The North (DPRK) is famous for its censorship, human rights offenses, and prison camps.  So really nothing to cheer on.

Oh, and there won't be many 'Koreans' cheering on the team in the semis, the North aren't allowed out of the country, and the South bloody well hate them.

That's your history lesson for today folks.

considering the North arent suposedly allowed out of the country, their did seem to be a few DPRK's supporters at the game last night making a racket with their bloody drums.

Good crowd last night but isnt qe2  hopeless to get in & out of. I'm surprised fifa allowed them to host the tourny at qe2 considering that there is only one exit / entry to the ground.
They ran out of beer just after half time of the 2nd game.

Germany V USA was the better game, Germany dominated for first 20 minutes but from then on it was all USA.

they wouldnthave anyway of knowing how many attended each game but the 8014 quoted would have been total tickets sold for both games on the day.. Likely that they never had that many in the ground at once.

Lucky to lose only 3-2. The Japanese hit the post/bar 4 times from memory, the Americans did next to nothing, with both of their goals coming from very, very bad keeper mistakes.

I thought then that the US girls would struggle to get out of the group, but they've done well to get to the final.
