He must be absolutely gutted, but seems to have taken a long-term view.

Heartbreaking news for him and us.  Him and Nelsen in defence would have been a gorgeous sight.  I rate the guy nearly up there with Nelsen.  I hope he recovers quickly.

Agree - seeing him with Nelsen at NHS for the last All Whites game was a great sight. They looked and played like mirror images of each other. THey make a formidable CB pairing.

Will be a great loss, although I suspected he might play our right for the all whites with Boyens in the center.
 
We don't have a rb at the moment and he seemed the best choice to me.
 
Hopefully the op goes better than expected.

Boyens is certainly handy though Siggie and Nelsen v. Torres and Villa would have been a dream...we need to grow some right back trees...
