We've got Dan Carter
Shes not a first five
But she kicks goals just as well
She straightens her hair to, thats not important
Just as long as England win!

So next Thursday Wellington is stopping for the 'Long Lunch' and we're ALL (no excuses) off to catch the opening U-17 wimmins match.

As part of the promotion the Fever are looking to split along England vs Brazil lines.  Look for more details here as we keep you posted with which pub is hosting which half of the Fever from 11:00 and how to get tickets in the relevant rival zones.

Can't stand either nation football-wise but will have to opt for Brazil.

You missed a second o in too. And an apostrophe. But good effort.
Cmon the English!

Finally a chance to wear my proud England shirt without the fear of being mugged......or maybe that might still happen,

Also HN; whats the latest on the England and Brazil seating zones? I've managed to drag 2 mates in to joining the England cause and let them borrow a couple other England shirts I've got, ENGERLAND!!

Was thinking the same, but the muppets at the stadium probably won't allow us to bring 'em in.

Would just need to contact the stadium and get it alowed, don't think its to hard. Otherwise we can just make the tune ourselves

I assume you were going to let us know that we should expect the Barmy Army 11am Thursday morning right. If anyone is interested we are showing the Arsenal Vs Tottenham game from 9am that morning. (no service - just the game on the big screen) and my pleasant company.

Ill qoute the Pandemic so you can understand the confusion
"The World Cup is almost here! That's right the U-17 Women's world cup kicks of next week and the opener in Wellington is Brazil vs England at 12:00 on Sunday.

The Wellington Long Lunch will see big crowds getting down to the game and the Fever are well in behind it and looking to divide along National lines.

So, from 11:00 Saturday if you wish to join the area of the stadium reserved for the Samba Fever pop in to the Thistle and we'll sort you out with a ticket at a very aggressive price point (free). If you fancy supporting the English lasses, the same service is being offered at the Backbencher"

If I can get one in.. I can play the cornet or trumpet.. Depending on what I can get my hands on.
I still like the idea of trombone..
How many of those have you seen at the football?

Also..
For those who dont know the words to God save the queen.
God save our gracious Queen,1 Long live our noble Queen, God save the Queen: Send her victorious, Happy and glorious, Long to reign over us: God save the Queen. O Lord, our God, arise, Scatter her enemies, And make them fall. Confound their politics, Frustrate their knavish tricks, On Thee our hopes we fix, God save us all. Thy choicest gifts in store, On her be pleased to pour; Long may she reign: May she defend our laws, And ever give us cause To sing with heart and voice God save the Queen.*

Oh god no HN, its just that the cricket isn't really the same as the football to cheer at when you're English.

groan!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Bollocks to that, anyone English knows that Land of Hope and Glory is the real anthem

Although Tub Thumping was in danger of succeeding it at one point.HarryHotspur2008-10-29 21:39:08
