Ticket pricing

$35 plus booking costs for adults

Students the winners, families the massive losers. More money for booze I guess.

Pretty steep for an adult. Might put some fair weather fans off. I can't remember how much the game in Chch was but I'm sure it wasn't that expensive.

Was $30 in CHCH.  I've already booked and paid for the Phoenix from CHCH, won't be able to go twice in 3 weeks.

Will save for the big November clash in Wgton!

I'm also surprised at the pricing mate.

The previous 2 AW qualifiers in this series all had tiered differential pricing (as does the Phoenix clash).

$35 for "Gold" seating on halfway and $25 for other seating like the Phoenix game would have been so much fairer and appealing.

So if it was in Wgtn it would be 2 games in 9 days.   Is Dunners really that different from here (weather is sh!t in both places, small populations, they drink cr@p speights, we have cr@p tui)?

Edit: For the record I'm miffed that it's not here in the home of football, but what the heck - the Mainland deserves a bit of national footy love too.

Pissed at the delay.  Prob could have sussed Grabaseat flights if it was known earlier.

Looking to fly to ChCh on Thursday.  Anyone wanna drive me from there?

Worst case I'll jump on the 2pm bus to Dunners.  Also seriously considering just going on standby for a flight home on monday from Dunedin.  Yay for the week off :)

Curses.

Fly into NZ Welly 20/02, down to Sth Isle from the 23rd then back to Welly 7th of March & return Sydney on the 8th.

I could have easily stayed til the 23/03.

Grumble.

Oh well, see you in Dunners on March 3rd I guess for the Heart & start saving just in case for the CONCACAF in Nov....

This might be a conversation better had once (if) we've actually qualified, but has anyone thought about going to the away leg of the Concacaf playoff? I imagine it would be hugely dependent on who the OFC representative ends up playing, but would it be on the cards for anyone?

Feverish and I may have been discussing this last night. I think we may look at organising something, but too lazy to kick it off just yet (plus don't want to jinx anything).

 Hi everyone,

There will be another Fever White Noise block booking arranged for the Dunedin match so please keep this in mind when tickets go on sale. I will be arranging a large block booking on behalf of YF and I would highly encourage everyone to purchase tickets with us which will give us a truer Fever Zone than might otherwise happen.

Also once again I'm happy to co-ordinate transport arrangements to save you a bit of coin and get you into town and airport much faster (as well as share a ride with randoms from Yellow Fever rather than random randoms), so if you have flights booked please get in touch with your flight details and I'll match you up with others on the same flights.

Yellow Fever/White Noise block booking is locked in and confirmed. $35 per adult, $15 for students, $15 for kids, and no family ticket price. There is no group booking discount available. Awaiting confirmation about any ticketing fees but my understanding is that these are incorporated into the ticket pricing.

These tickets are for the heart of the White Noise zone with the intention of creating a solid core group if Fever supporters who can generate great atmosphere for the rest of the crowd to feed off. This has worked very well in previous Nix matches in Dunedin with great feedback, and has the added benefit of reducing problems with people buying in the zone and not being aware of unspoken rules. With a big enough core of supporters it will mean we have enough room for the hardcore without spreading us out too thinly.

When are you leaving Timaru?

I may be heading down from Burnham, about 20km west of CHCH at 2pm on Friday, but only if I can get the arvo off work. You'd have to find your way here from the airport which would mean catching at least 2 buses.

Offering free concierge services for the All Whites fixture in Dunedin on Friday 22 March.

Let me know your ticket requirements, and if applicable your flight details (numbers and times) and I will sort you out with tickets in the Yellow Fever/White Noise group booking (to create a core group of vocal supporters in the White Noise seating area), and I will try to match you up with others on the same flights and arrange the ever popular Jaguar Limousine transfers - the only way for Feverites to travel to and from the airport :)

Hopefully he will see Killen play enough times to see he is not a centre midfielder

If I was RH I'd be on the next plane to UK/LA/ "checking up on present and potential AW's". Have a break Ricki. Get out and enjoy life.

I think he got that idea because Killen had spent some time playing in midfield for his club side.

Someone drag up the 'realistic chance of making the top 8 at the world cup' thread. How would everyone's responses differ knowing that Ricki was only ever half concentrating all along? Now that he's fully focussed is that a realistic goal? I think so. Unsack Ricki.

Thanks to those of you who offered lifts from ChCh to Dunedin.  Am probably going to bus down on Thursday as it means I have free accomodation in Dunners.

Much appreciated though.

Rojas hat-trick against the Argies gets us into the semis.... Brockie screamer past Buffon nails Italy... superb defensive efforts by back four of Reid, Smith, Sigmund, Durante keep Spain at bay until 90 mins.. Boyd scores penalty winner in delirious last kick of the game. So.

like

i remember at the time ricki stated that he made a technical call on killen as a midfielder, i.e. he had the technique to be able to do it, so thought it would work.  it didn't go too well did it.

Maybe someone lobs it to him to catch and instead he flaps ineffectually at it with one hand, batting it down two tiers of the stadium...
