we are really struggling to keep the ball.  Mexico will be happy with this I'd say.

Is the plan to simply chase for 90 mins because he expects to do that against Mexico.

From reading the pre-match comment from herbert, i got the distinct impression we were going to basically set out to have 0% possession and test our defensive resolve, with a view to doing exactly that when we play the away leg for real.

So pretty much going to plan... if we managed to nab one on the break it'd be perfect!

Fuckin Herbert. Parking the bus for 90 mins against Mexico ? Sweet dreams Brazil 2014.

Ha not tonight, my Polish flatties were gutted!!!

We look better when we attack but Costa has been losing the ball quite a bit.

This always amazes me. They train almost every day but still can't cross a ball.

im not sure a couple of warm-up friendlies would qualify as successful

Was a bit of a generalisation obviously but was more referring to the 2010 qualifying campaign and world cup finals. Other notable successes are few and far between in terms of competitive football in the last 30 years - perhaps that 1-0 win over aus when nelsen scored? Not sure how much bus parking went on there though...
