1-1 against a Ventura pub side. I don't think anyone has any angst left. Just a resigned.....sigh!!!!!

Actually I think its a cunning plan by Ricki, he's made the team act really useless, he's made guys playing in European pro teams act like they are no good, he didn't want them to reveal our brilliant goal scoring ability. The CONCACAF sides will think we are soooooooo shiite that they will be over confident and we can catch them out..

the irony of the 'behind closed doors' games is that they probably aren't even bothering to spy on us

and even if they did, they'd find so many weak points that they won't have the time to work out the best plan to exploit them

yes, herbert is being very cunning

If Lochhead was playing then i would say they have figured it out very quickly.

Three for me, and two for them.

They probably didn't need to see anymore after that.

My sources within the squad tell me the game was a "waste of time". We had plenty of chances apparently, their goal came from Keat giving the ball away to their striker who duly scored.

My friend said captain (assuming Reid) was yelling at his midfield a lot. Lols. Otherwise said it was rather tame. Said blonde guy on the left looked very handy (Henderson I'm assuming).

The game was a waste of time???? Well this is huge news to us all... Fucking 3/4 of anyone that knew anything about football knew the game was a waste of time before getting on the plane!

Oh and lots of changes for 2nd half. Ginger was at CB (Keat) might be why he gave the ball away ha. Can't get along to Chivas game unfortunately

Hmmm. Reid does this a lot, which is probably no real surprise given how shit some of his team mates are but he doesn't seem to do it with the same effect as Nelsen. I'm worried his attitude to captaincy seems to be "god you guys are shit, can you not do anything right?" Rather than helping to solve the problems. I could be wrong...

Fuck this stupid game

LOL if this was the case then why was one of our only few specialist DMs playing at CB when we have good depth at CB anyway(Keat did actually play once at CB for Galaxy) More cunning planning from Ricki..."I'll try and convert CB's like Dura into DM and then I'll try and convert DM's like Keat into CB"......oh yes....very cunning!!!!!! I also worry this same thing. Not based on a huge amount of evidence mind you, so I'll continue to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it's a worry.

Remember when the draw was made an we drew North America, we all celebrated thinking we got the best draw possible....

..now on reflection, Mexico or Jordan?  I know who I'd rather play!!

Ventura County Fusion are dining out on the result - they tweeted this four times consecutively:

VC Fusion ‏@VCFusion                    18h

Final Score: Fusion 1 New Zealand 1 Another great result for the boys against international opponents.

AND THIS (oh, dear!):

Ventura County Fusion Fusion was missing several of its starting team. It was a friendly game played in a good spirit.
