ive bought stuff from prodirect before and theyve been great. shipping was cheap, took about a week or so. they do personalisation aswell, you just need to email them. they use official nike print which makes stuff look a lot better aswell.

How much is personalisation? I just looked at the NZ shirt and it was something crazy like 70 pounds before shippping!

I am indifferent about the new shirts but disappointed that they NZF logo still isn't "embroided" onto the shirt. They manage to embroider the Nike swoosh so it should be just as easy to do the fern and NZF lettering. Does that iron on stuff rub off?

from what i recall personalisation was about 6 GBP for a name, and another 6 for a numbered front and back. it all works out pretty much equal to what you would pay in NZ with the added bonus of official nike numbering/lettering

Will there be a version coming out with the World Cup badge on the sleeve?

Its usually only the match worn shirts that have those. So probably not

Pretty sure I saw shirts for sale in 2006 with the WC patch on. But could be wrong, I'm getting senile these days.

I think that jacket is f**kn rad, I love that classic look. I wouldn't mind getting a hold of one of them. In fact I just bought a classic Sweden top in honour of my heritage, I would be complete with an AWs top.

I can see what the jackets are trying to do but I think they've failed.
I'd like to see how it would have turned out with a white collar

How have they failed? The Brazilian team jacket is also similar in style so we arent the only ones doing it

EDIT: it appears all 'nike nations' at the WC will be wearing these N98 Walk-On jackets

Neslen, Killen and Fallon kits are available on kitbag. But at 56.94 plus shipping, I'd hope they hit our shelves soon.

got mine at kitbag, didn't get personalised stuff as too expensive, and don't have a favourite player, otherwise would have been Nelsen easy, but I'm no admirer to defenders, usually get numbers and names of midfielder and forwards as those are the positions I've played and enjoyed watching players of that calibre

What's with all the importing? Is it cheaper or are people getting impatient waiting for a local release? I'm sure I've seen the new kit at Stirling Sports but at that stage it was Black only.

You can buy them here now, ive seen them at Platinum and also online at the NZ Football Store:

http://www.nzfootball.co.nz/index.php?id=8

I would only import if I couldnt get personalisation done here, otherwise there wouldnt be much difference in price. $20-$30 max after shipping. And you have to wait a week.

Are they the Proper numbers? Back and front of shirt?

I only bought the last shirt a couple of months ago, so I'm not getting the new one, as much as I'd like to. White is white, after all.

both really

the NZD against GBP is so strong at the moment, you'd be a fool not to import one

remember when you import you don't pay tax, so funnily enough my shirt would be cheaper than a one ordered within the UK (for example), even including shipping

some dude at a Nike store told me the release in NZ will be close to $150? not sure if true but that's very steep for my liking

upto you really

buy cheap and get it early from importers or pay a fortune and wait for one...

I said...

Hi there, I was wondering if the lettering and numbering on the NZ
shirts is the proper official Nike font with the numbers on the front of the shirt also?
And are you able to print other names and numbers on request?

Thanks,

AJ

They said...

Dear AJ

Thank you for your email,

I'm afraid we cannot print personal names on the back of those shirts, this is down to licensing which we don't have.

Sorry we are unable to help further at this time.

Yours Sincerely,

You can get numbers and names printed some where else. I like the AW WC kit.

Online shopping in the UK is key at the moment. I got my boots for like 130 kiwi including postage when they'd cost 220 at least here. Shirts are the same cause you don't pay VAT and the NZD is pretty strong.

So can someone that has imported a shirt tell us what they paid including shipping in NZD?
