Just watched the highlights once more. Ricki's strength over the years is that he has been able to organize a defense. The saves that Moss made were from classy play from the Mexicans. I can handle it if we are outclassed. The goals they scored however were all virtually soft goals with poor marking. Yes, the players are to blame but thisis meant to be Rickis strength. yeah, i looked and about 4/5 goals were a result of Ivans reaction time and speed. Also the major problem with marking at the set piece, especially the second where tommy and Ivan ran into each other allowing the mexicans enough room that 3 of their players could have scored.
Yep- dare i say it Ben Sigmund would have been a better bet perhaps???
not going to lie, I was assuming that he'd be subbed on at some point. Then again, maybe it would have been a negative look to bring on a defender being so far down in the dumps.
