If he needs to watch the replay of the "foul" five times to determine it was a clear and obvious error then I'd suggest it wasn't clear and obvious?

Play wise bell and lewis aren't as involved or composed as I'd like to see them. Garbett also sloppy. Need to control the nerves. If tuiloma is in for his set piece then he needs to up the field more. His defense hasn't been too flash.

When I saw all the VAR crew as well as all the on-field refs were from Quatar I did raise an eyebrow.

Yep, it just reeks of corruption.

Soft call, but think the arm going across the defender is never a good look in any challenge.

If the ref has been bought then its going to be a tough second half. Boys doing very well though. They'll score another one if they keep going like that

Even if there is no corruption, it reeks of corruption, and that is one of the worst VAR decisions I've seen in my life.

The commentators are going on and on about Woods but there are other players doing a far better job than him.

Good news is we are creating genuine chances after a truly awful start.

2nd half screams CR theatrics. But is hope

Edit - and yeah it’s the arm going across from Garbett that is the bad look. Like he grabs the Tico’s sock for a split second. Fudgeing annoying. I’m an army of 1 watching it with 50 Ticos fans. Cods

Yep, and it was perfectly logical by FIFA to award Qatar hosting rights in the first place. Nothing dodgy there.

Anyway, a big half coming up. I still believe. Come on lads.

I guess Costa Rica will come out firing hard or park the bus. They've  already been slowing it down without any ref intervention so that will most likely continue even more blatantly. They're dangerous of course but we have been making lots of chances. Let's hope for more.

They will try and frustrate us. We got to stay cool. And be really warry of the counter attack from them.

Imagine if we had rojas, singh and thomas playing, would be dominating these guys

We’ve got Ben Waine. Wishing we had Old, tbh. Who else do we have?

Why did Var start the replay in slow motion half way through the incident.? Because it was an obvious foul on Garbitt before they both fell to the ground. The guy clattered through the back of the kiwi and as they fell his arm went around the guys leg. Absolute bullshark call. I’m watching this in France and the local commentators are full of praise for the kiwis play. Just need to play more through Carcace down the left. We can win this

It's not healthy for us to blame corruption.

But it's totally naive to assume that these games aren't manipulated.

The Ref has been intimidated by the Costa Ricans and I feel he is out of his depth as an International Ref.

Kosta has looked well of the pace unfortunately. Lacking in depth here. Though I’d take 5-10 minutes of sick Rojas tbh.
Wimping out here a bit.

Sorry guys, that was a ridiculously stupid lunge and deserved.

But again Costa Rica play for it perfectly.

Stupid from Kosta honestly, knowing what was on the line. Deserved. I'd be filthy it that wasn't red against us, no excuses.

I'm out, Ive switched it off.
If you can watch that world cup of absolute corruption, go ahead and enjoy.

But I won't watch a minute of it.

Checking out, enjoy the rest of the game

Fark it- break them. Hurt them. Elbows in the head, goals disallowed, totally bs red cards.
Time to not shy out of challenges.
