At the end of the day. If the weather turns to crap remember that our AW's will also have to play in those conditions. Bahrain are professional enough to weather the storm. They will probbly wear skins underneath there uniforms. Bahrain may not be used to cold weather, but they will play the game of there lives to try and qualify for the first time.

Uncovered seating.

Please don't rain. Or the White Out will be washed out.

Oh well another update (although all the newies are copying me these days and going on about it):

Basically no chance of rain - and southerly won't have anything left when it gets up here.
Fairly strong wind.
Cool (compared to Sydney!)

I'm bringing my huge ex-East German border guard's coat. Can't paint it white in time, though.

theres a 6hr gap to where it starts to piss down, so wouldn't be surprised if the weather comes a bit earlier.

I mean it is God's own, so I'm sure it'll get here a little sooner :P

Correct.

I remember on the Sunday after the 1st leg I had a conversation with a friend about how long it would take for the "What we need is a cold Southerly, blah, blah" type comments to start appearing.

If anyone thinks Bahrain are going to roll over and die because it's windy or raining, you need your bumps read.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

not often we disagree but - if they think it might make a difference it might

and given that they've been squirted with hoses during training (or having water fights and splashing in puddles) - it seems they do

the wind is possibly more of a factor than the alleged 'cold' - though the sudden change in weather today might be niggling away at them

from tv news pics - they were wrapped up like Eskmos last night -

that's probably why they wanted 'Fashion police Oscar' evicted

blow you bastard blow!!

TV1 also said Bahrain beat Uzbekistan 1-0 in sub-zero temperatures.

Oh sorry i think i got the two chanels mixed up. it was probably TV1. But i do agree that the weather will have no bearing on this vital match. Bahrain didnt travel thousands of miles to bow down to the cold. They will play with heart, grit and determination. Just as the Kiwi's will. I really want the AW's to win! Give em a taste of KIWI!
