RE Melbourne,it's called Emirate's Stadium now.

What about seating for a vocal home end? It's your house,so are you guys going to take the lead and get it happening? Or is there already a thread on this somewhere else?

Nice one.

I live in Wellington so I'm happy the game is here but I would have been just as happy to go to Auckland.

I hope you have a great weekend down here happyted and bring some good numbers with you.

Really like the idea of 'Early Bird' ticket prices. Get people to commit before the 1st Leg.

Will phoenix members get !st crack at the seats. ala the rugby memberships for AB games and the Beckham game (I think it was)? Hope so. May convince some more people to by Memberships.

Will be so disappointing if its not a sell out.

Will be a miracle if it is.

NZ football hasn't seen a crowd near 30k for 28 years.  I know it's important but it would be a HUGE turn-up for it to sell out.

Will White Noise be getting into pre-WCQ's recruitment drive then? Some planned...or random,
profile raisers could be the go in the next few weeks...
Ideas on raising awareness of the game and how to increase the numbers of tickets sold... anyone?

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

Don't really know what can be done to advertise. Some more full pages in the paper. Hopfully the NZFC can get onto it early.

With the tickets they could sell cheap ones, just a seat. And oher ones paying abit more. But you get a free All Whtes Scarf, or something.

Yeah, different market though.

Much larger base to sell to, much more established brand (the Socceroos va All Whites), and probably better known opposition.

We need to get a higher percentage of locals through the gates than Melbourne had to, and we need to engage with a large base of non-football people as well as getting the football families along.

Hopefully the whole city will have a football feel that week though, like it did pre-Beckham.

They charge that, and we'll have a crowd of 5-6k for the game. Would be a terrible look.

The wrong people might read that and think they can charge Beckham prices.

Whats the chances of having the Perth match rescheduled to the Friday evening before the NZ game, having another double header?

Would the NZ reps even play in the Sunday game before the Saturday Playoff???

http://www.nzsoccer.com/plugins/newsfeed.cgi?rm=content&plugin_data_id=28025

Match kicks off at 8pm if no one has seen this?

The game is scheduled for a FIFA window, so no club fixtures at all.
