It was a beautiful day for it, and I agree that Saturday's are a better fit during the summer.

If I'm honest, I think Waitak were unlucky not to sneak one in the last ten minutes. Great game.

They were unlucky not to sneak one but if it hadnt been for Robinson in the sticks would of been long over before then!!
Is it just me or is Emblen finished?
he gets worse every time i see him play

Correction - if the goal had been 10cm wider and 10cm higher, Chad's shot and McGeorge's piledriver would have gone in. Robinson didn't have a lot of direct saves to make - other than a header of Chad's that went straight at him.

We were just fortunate that none of the Waitak strikers could it the side of a barn... even their goal was a 6-yard-box melee. But then again, in the big games you have to take your chaces and both sides were guilty of wasting them.

Emblen is definitely looking slower, which in turn makes him look a little suspect at times, But his positioning, his aerial ability and his presence on the pitch are still commendable.

Its commendable that he still thinks he can play at NZFC level with the weight he is carrying

Is it true Magenta held Auckland to a 1-1 draw this afternoon up in Noumea???

Does that mean AS Maenta is now the 5th equal best team in the world?

Early goal from Coombes, Pritchett & Dickerson assist.
Assuming Waitak take Mana Ura, then ACFC/Waitak will be equal on points, which ups the performance levels I.e. Can only be good for NZ footie.

Yes - better than any A-League or NZFC side on your logic

And also equal champions of Africa.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I think you'll find it is logic from the ACFC knitting circle.

The same could also be said of Otago, Canterbury, Manawatu and Waitakere as well.

Makes perfect logic to me.

Grumpy old bastard alert
